In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
شروع کرتا ہوں اللہ تعا لٰی کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے ۔

وَالصّٰٓفّٰتِ صَفًّا ۙ ﴿1﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
By those [angels] lined up in rows
قسم ہےصف باندھنے والے ( فرشتوں ) کی ۔

فَالزّٰجِرٰتِ زَجۡرًا ۙ ﴿2﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And those who drive [the clouds]
پھر پوری طرح ڈانٹنے والوں کی ۔

فَالتّٰلِيٰتِ ذِكۡرًا ۙ ﴿3﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And those who recite the message,
پھر ذکر اللہ کی تلاوت کرنے والوں کی ۔

اِنَّ اِلٰهَكُمۡ لَوَاحِدٌ ؕ ﴿4﴾

Indeed, your God is One,
یقیناً تم سب کا معبود ایک ہی ہے ۔

رَبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا وَرَبُّ الۡمَشَارِقِ ؕ ﴿5﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises.
آسمانوں اور زمین اور ان کے درمیان کی تمام چیزوں اور مشرقوں کا رب وہی ہے ۔

اِنَّا زَيَّنَّا السَّمَآءَ الدُّنۡيَا بِزِيۡنَةِ اۨلۡكَوَاكِبِۙ ﴿6﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars
ہم نے آسمان دنیا کو ستاروں کی زینت سے آراستہ کیا ۔

وَحِفۡظًا مِّنۡ كُلِّ شَيۡطٰنٍ مَّارِدٍۚ ﴿7﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And as protection against every rebellious devil
اور حفاظت کی سرکش شیطان سے ۔

لَّا يَسَّمَّعُوۡنَ اِلَى الۡمَلَاِ الۡاَعۡلٰى وَيُقۡذَفُوۡنَ مِنۡ كُلِّ جَانِبٍۖ ﴿8﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
[So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side,
عالم بالا کے فرشتوں ( کی باتوں ) کو سننے کے لئے وہ کان بھی نہیں لگا سکتے ، بلکہ ہر طرف سے وہ مارے جاتے ہیں ۔

دُحُوۡرًا وَّلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ وَّاصِبٌ ۙ ﴿9﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Repelled; and for them is a constant punishment,
بھگانے کے لئے اور ان کے لئے دائمی عذاب ہے ۔

اِلَّا مَنۡ خَطِفَ الۡخَطۡفَةَ فَاَتۡبَعَهٗ شِهَابٌ ثَاقِبٌ ﴿10﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness].
مگر جو کوئی ایک آدھ بات اچک لےبھاگے تو ( فورا ہی ) اس کے پیچھے دہکتا ہوا شعلہ لگ جاتا ہے ۔

فَاسۡتَفۡتِهِمۡ اَهُمۡ اَشَدُّ خَلۡقًا اَمۡ مَّنۡ خَلَقۡنَاؕ اِنَّا خَلَقۡنٰهُمۡ مِّنۡ طِيۡنٍ لَّازِبٍ ﴿11﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Then inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Are they a stronger [or more difficult] creation or those [others] We have created?" Indeed, We created men from sticky clay.
ان کافروں سے پوچھو تو کہ آیا ان کا پیدا کرنا زیادہ دشوار ہے یا ( ان کا ) جنہیں ہم نے ( ان کے علاوہ ) پیدا کیا ؟ ہم نے ( انسانوں ) کو لیسدار مٹی سے پیدا کیا ہے؟ ۔

بَلۡ عَجِبۡتَ وَيَسۡخَرُوۡنَ ﴿12﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
But you wonder, while they mock,
بلکہ تو تعجب کر رہا ہے اور یہ مسخرا پن کر رہے ہیں ۔

وَاِذَا ذُكِّرُوۡا لَا يَذۡكُرُوۡنَ ﴿13﴾

And when they are reminded, they remember not.
اور جب انہیں نصیحت کی جاتی ہے یہ نہیں مانتے ۔

وَاِذَا رَاَوۡا اٰيَةً يَّسۡتَسۡخِرُوۡنَ ﴿14﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And when they see a sign, they ridicule
اور جب کسی معجزے کو دیکھتے ہیں تو مذاق اڑاتے ہیں ۔

وَقَالُوۡۤا اِنۡ هٰذَاۤ اِلَّا سِحۡرٌ مُّبِيۡنٌ ۖۚ ﴿15﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And say, "This is not but obvious magic.
اور کہتے ہیں کہ یہ تو بالکل کھلم کھلا جادو ہی ہے ۔

ءَاِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُـنَّا تُرَابًا وَّعِظَامًا ءَاِنَّا لَمَبۡعُوۡثُوۡنَۙ ﴿16﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected?
کیا جب ہم مر جائیں گے اور خاک اور ہڈی ہوجائیں گے پھر کیا ( سچ مچ ) ہم اٹھائے جائیں گے؟

اَوَاٰبَآؤُنَا الۡاَوَّلُوۡنَؕ ﴿17﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And our forefathers [as well]?"
کیا ہم سے پہلے کے ہمارے باپ دادا بھی؟

قُلۡ نَعَمۡ وَاَنۡـتُمۡ دٰخِرُوۡنَۚ ﴿18﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Say, "Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible."
آپ جواب دیجئے کہ ہاں ہاں اور تم ذلیل ( بھی ) ہوؤگے ۔

فَاِنَّمَا هِىَ زَجۡرَةٌ وَّاحِدَةٌ فَاِذَا هُمۡ يَنۡظُرُوۡنَ ﴿19﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing.
وہ تو صرف ایک روز کی جھڑکی ہے کہ یکایک یہ دیکھنے لگیں گے ۔

وَقَالُوۡا يٰوَيۡلَنَا هٰذَا يَوۡمُ الدِّيۡنِ ﴿20﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
They will say, "O woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense."
اور کہیں گے کہ ہائے ہماری خرابی یہی جزا ( سزا ) کا دن ہے ۔

هٰذَا يَوۡمُ الۡفَصۡلِ الَّذِىۡ كُنۡتُمۡ بِهٖ تُكَذِّبُوۡنَ ﴿21﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
[They will be told], "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny."
یہی فیصلہ کا دن ہے جسے تم جھٹلاتے رہے ۔

اُحۡشُرُوا الَّذِيۡنَ ظَلَمُوۡا وَاَزۡوَاجَهُمۡ وَمَا كَانُوۡا يَعۡبُدُوۡنَۙ ﴿22﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
[The angels will be ordered], "Gather those who committed wrong, their kinds, and what they used to worship
ظالموں کو اور ان کے ہمراہیوں کو اور ( جن ) جن کی وہ اللہ کے علاوہ پرستش کرتے تھے ۔

مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِ فَاهۡدُوۡهُمۡ اِلٰى صِرَاطِ الۡجَحِيۡمِ ﴿23﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Other than Allah , and guide them to the path of Hellfire
۔ ( ان سب کو ) جمع کرکے انہیں دوزخ کی راہ دکھا دو ۔

وَقِفُوۡهُمۡ اِنَّهُمۡ مَّسْـُٔـوۡلُوۡنَۙ ﴿24﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned."
اور انہیں ٹھہرا لو ( اس لئے ) کہ ان سے ( ضروری ) سوال کیئے جانے والے ہیں ۔

مَا لَـكُمۡ لَا تَنَاصَرُوۡنَ ﴿25﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
[They will be asked], "What is [wrong] with you? Why do you not help each other?"
تمہیں کیا ہوگیا ہے کہ ( اس وقت ) تم ایک دوسرے کی مدد نہیں کرتے ۔

بَلۡ هُمُ الۡيَوۡمَ مُسۡتَسۡلِمُوۡنَ ﴿26﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
But they, that Day, are in surrender.
بلکہ وہ ( سب کے سب ) آج فرمانبردار بن گئے ۔

وَاَقۡبَلَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلٰى بَعۡضٍ يَّتَسَآءَلُوۡنَ ﴿27﴾

And they will approach one another blaming each other.
وہ ایک دوسرے کی طرف متوجہ ہو کر سوال و جواب کرنے لگیں گے ۔

قَالُوۡۤا اِنَّكُمۡ كُنۡتُمۡ تَاۡتُوۡنَنَا عَنِ الۡيَمِيۡنِ ﴿28﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
They will say, "Indeed, you used to come at us from the right."
کہیں گے کہ تم توہمارے پاس ہماری دائیں طرف سے آتے تھے ۔

قَالُوۡا بَلْ لَّمۡ تَكُوۡنُوۡا مُؤۡمِنِيۡنَۚ ﴿29﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
The oppressors will say, "Rather, you [yourselves] were not believers,
وہ جواب دیں گے کہ نہیں بلکہ تم ہی ایماندار نہ تھے ۔

وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا عَلَيۡكُمۡ مِّنۡ سُلۡطٰنِۚ بَلۡ كُنۡتُمۡ قَوۡمًا طٰغِيۡنَ ﴿30﴾

And we had over you no authority, but you were a transgressing people.
اور کچھ ہمارا زور تو غم پرتھا ( ہی ) نہیں ، بلکہ تم ( خود ) سرکش لوگ تھے ۔

فَحَقَّ عَلَيۡنَا قَوۡلُ رَبِّنَآ ۖ اِنَّا لَذَآٮِٕقُوۡنَ ﴿31﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
So the word of our Lord has come into effect upon us; indeed, we will taste [punishment].
اب تو ہم ( سب ) پر ہمارے رب کی یہ بات ثابت ہوچکی کہ ہم ( عذاب ) چکھنے والے ہیں ۔

فَاَغۡوَيۡنٰكُمۡ اِنَّا كُنَّا غٰوِيۡنَ ﴿32﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And we led you to deviation; indeed, we were deviators."
پس ہم نے تمہیں گمراہ کیا ہم تو خود بھی گمراہ ہی تھے ۔

فَاِنَّهُمۡ يَوۡمَٮِٕذٍ فِى الۡعَذَابِ مُشۡتَرِكُوۡنَ ﴿33﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
So indeed they, that Day, will be sharing in the punishment.
سو اب آج کے دن تو ( سب کے سب ) عذاب میں شریک ہیں ۔

اِنَّا كَذٰلِكَ نَفۡعَلُ بِالۡمُجۡرِمِيۡنَ ﴿34﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, that is how We deal with the criminals.
ہم گناہگاروں کے ساتھ اسی طرح کیاکرتے ہیں ۔

اِنَّهُمۡ كَانُوۡۤا اِذَا قِيۡلَ لَهُمۡ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللّٰهُۙ يَسۡتَكۡبِرُوۡنَۙ ﴿35﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed they, when it was said to them, "There is no deity but Allah ," were arrogant
یہ وہ ( لوگ ) ہیں کہ جب ان سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں تو یہ سرکشی کرتے تھے ۔

وَيَقُوۡلُوۡنَ اَٮِٕنَّا لَتٰرِكُوۡۤا اٰلِهَـتِنَا لِشَاعِرٍ مَّجۡـنُوۡنٍ ؕ ﴿36﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And were saying, "Are we to leave our gods for a mad poet?"
اور کہتے تھے کہ کیا ہم اپنے معبودوں کو ایک دیوانے شاعر کی بات پر چھوڑ دیں؟

بَلۡ جَآءَ بِالۡحَقِّ وَصَدَّقَ الۡمُرۡسَلِيۡنَ ﴿37﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Rather, the Prophet has come with the truth and confirmed the [previous] messengers.
۔ ( نہیں نہیں ) بلکہ ( نبی ) تو حق ( سچا دین ) لائے ہیں اور سب رسولوں کو سچا جانتے ہیں ۔

اِنَّكُمۡ لَذَآٮِٕقُوا الۡعَذَابِ الۡاَلِيۡمِۚ ﴿38﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, you [disbelievers] will be tasters of the painful punishment,
یقیناً تم دردناک عذاب ( کا مزہ ) چکھنے والے ہو ۔

وَمَا تُجۡزَوۡنَ اِلَّا مَا كُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُوۡنَۙ ﴿39﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do -
تمہیں اسی کا بدلہ دیا جائے گا جو تم کرتے تھے ۔

اِلَّا عِبَادَ اللّٰهِ الۡمُخۡلَصِيۡنَ ﴿40﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
But not the chosen servants of Allah .
مگر اللہ تعالٰی کے خالص برگزیدہ بندے ۔

اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ لَهُمۡ رِزۡقٌ مَّعۡلُوۡمٌۙ ﴿41﴾

Those will have a provision determined -
انہیں کے لئے مقررہ روزی ہے ۔

فَوَاكِهُۚ وَهُمۡ مُّكۡرَمُوۡنَۙ ﴿42﴾

Fruits; and they will be honored
۔ ( ہر طرح ) کے میوے ، اور باعزت و اکرام ہونگے ۔

فِىۡ جَنّٰتِ النَّعِيۡمِۙ ﴿43﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
In gardens of pleasure
نعمتوں والی جنتوں میں ۔

عَلٰى سُرُرٍ مُّتَقٰبِلِيۡنَ ﴿44﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
On thrones facing one another.
تختوں پر ایک دوسرے کے سامنے ( بیٹھے ) ہوں گے ۔

يُطَافُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ بِكَاۡسٍ مِّنۡ مَّعِيۡنٍۢ ۙ ﴿45﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
There will be circulated among them a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring,
جاری شراب کے جام کا ان پر دور چل رہا ہوگا ۔

بَيۡضَآءَ لَذَّةٍ لِّلشّٰرِبِيۡنَ ۖۚ ﴿46﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
White and delicious to the drinkers;
جو صاف شفاف اور پینے میں لذیذ ہوگی ۔

لَا فِيۡهَا غَوۡلٌ وَّلَا هُمۡ عَنۡهَا يُنۡزَفُوۡنَ ﴿47﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
No bad effect is there in it, nor from it will they be intoxicated.
نہ اس سے درد سرہو اور نہ اسکے پینے سے بہکیں ۔

وَعِنۡدَهُمۡ قٰصِرٰتُ الطَّرۡفِ عِيۡنٌۙ ﴿48﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And with them will be women limiting [their] glances, with large, [beautiful] eyes,
اور ان کے پاس نیچی نظروں ، بڑی بڑی آنکھوں والی ( حوریں ) ہونگی ۔

كَاَنَّهُنَّ بَيۡضٌ مَّكۡنُوۡنٌ ﴿49﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
As if they were [delicate] eggs, well-protected.
ایسی جیسے چھپائے ہوئے انڈے ۔

فَاَقۡبَلَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلٰى بَعۡضٍ يَّتَسَآءَلُوۡنَ ﴿50﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other.
۔ ( جنتی ) ایک دوسرے کی طرف رخ کرکے پوچھیں گے ۔

قَالَ قَآٮِٕلٌ مِّنۡهُمۡ اِنِّىۡ كَانَ لِىۡ قَرِيۡنٌۙ ﴿51﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
A speaker among them will say, "Indeed, I had a companion [on earth]
ان میں سے ایک کہنے والا کہے گا کہ میرا ایک ساتھی تھا ۔

يَقُوۡلُ اَءِ نَّكَ لَمِنَ الۡمُصَدِّقِيۡنَ ﴿52﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Who would say, 'Are you indeed of those who believe
جو ( مجھ سے ) کہا کرتا تھا کہ کیا تو ( قیامت کے آنے کا ) یقین کرنے والوں میں سے ہے؟

ءَاِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَّعِظَامًا ءَاِنَّا لَمَدِيۡنُوۡنَ ﴿53﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
That when we have died and become dust and bones, we will indeed be recompensed?'"
کیا جب کہ ہم مر کر مٹی اور ہڈی ہوجائیں گے کیا اسوقت ہم جزا دیئے جانے والے ہیں؟

قَالَ هَلۡ اَنۡتُمۡ مُّطَّلِعُوۡنَ ﴿54﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
He will say, "Would you [care to] look?"
کہے گا تم چاہتے ہو کہ جھانک کر دیکھ لو؟

فَاطَّلَعَ فَرَاٰهُ فِىۡ سَوَآءِ الۡجَحِيۡمِ ﴿55﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And he will look and see him in the midst of the Hellfire.
جھانکتے ہی اسے بیچوں بیچ جہنم میں ( جلتا ہوا ) دیکھے گا ۔

قَالَ تَاللّٰهِ اِنۡ كِدْتَّ لَـتُرۡدِيۡنِۙ ﴿56﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
He will say, "By Allah , you almost ruined me.
کہے گا واللہ! قریب تھا کہ تو مجھے ( بھی ) برباد کردے ۔

وَلَوۡلَا نِعۡمَةُ رَبِّىۡ لَـكُنۡتُ مِنَ الۡمُحۡضَرِيۡنَ ﴿57﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
If not for the favor of my Lord, I would have been of those brought in [to Hell].
اگر میرے رب کا احسان نہ ہوتا تو میں بھی دوزخ میں حاضر کئے جانے والوں میں ہوتا ۔

اَفَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمَيِّتِيۡنَۙ ﴿58﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Then, are we not to die
کیا ( یہ صحیح ہے ) کہ ہم مرنے والے ہی نہیں؟

اِلَّا مَوۡتَتَـنَا الۡاُوۡلٰى وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمُعَذَّبِيۡنَ ﴿59﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Except for our first death, and we will not be punished?"
بجز پہلی ایک موت کے ، اور نہ ہم عذاب کیے جانے والے ہیں ۔

اِنَّ هٰذَا لَهُوَ الۡفَوۡزُ الۡعَظِيۡمُ ﴿60﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, this is the great attainment.
پھر تو ( ظاہر بات ہے کہ ) یہ بڑی کامیابی ہے ۔

لِمِثۡلِ هٰذَا فَلۡيَعۡمَلِ الۡعٰمِلُوۡنَ ﴿61﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
For the like of this let the workers [on earth] work.
ایسی ( کامیابی ) کے لئےعمل کرنے والوں کو عمل کرنا چاہیے ۔

اَذٰ لِكَ خَيۡرٌ نُّزُلًا اَمۡ شَجَرَةُ الزَّقُّوۡمِ ﴿62﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Is Paradise a better accommodation or the tree of zaqqum?
کیا یہ مہمانی اچھی ہے یا سینڈھ ( زقوم ) کا درخت؟

اِنَّا جَعَلۡنٰهَا فِتۡنَةً لِّلظّٰلِمِيۡنَ ﴿63﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, We have made it a torment for the wrongdoers.
جسے ہم نے ظالموں کے لئے سخت آزمائش بنا رکھا ہے ۔

اِنَّهَا شَجَرَةٌ تَخۡرُجُ فِىۡۤ اَصۡلِ الۡجَحِيۡمِۙ ﴿64﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, it is a tree issuing from the bottom of the Hellfire,
بیشک وہ درخت جہنم کی جڑ میں سے نکلتا ہے ۔

طَلۡعُهَا كَاَنَّهٗ رُءُوۡسُ الشَّيٰطِيۡنِ ﴿65﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Its emerging fruit as if it was heads of the devils.
جسکے خوشے شیطانوں کے سروں جیسے ہوتے ہیں ۔

فَاِنَّهُمۡ لَاٰكِلُوۡنَ مِنۡهَا فَمٰلِــُٔــوۡنَ مِنۡهَا الۡبُطُوۡنَ ؕ ﴿66﴾

And indeed, they will eat from it and fill with it their bellies.
۔ ( جہنمی ) اسی درخت میں سے کھائیں گے اور اسی سے پیٹ بھریں گے ۔

ثُمَّ اِنَّ لَهُمۡ عَلَيۡهَا لَشَوۡبًا مِّنۡ حَمِيۡمٍۚ ﴿67﴾

Then indeed, they will have after it a mixture of scalding water.
پھر اس پر گرم جلتے جلتے پانی کی ملونی ہوگی ۔

ثُمَّ اِنَّ مَرۡجِعَهُمۡ لَا۟اِلَى الۡجَحِيۡمِ ﴿68﴾

Then indeed, their return will be to the Hellfire.
پھر ان سب کا لوٹنا جہنم کی ( آگ کے ڈھیرکی ) طرف ہوگا ۔

اِنَّهُمۡ اَلۡفَوۡا اٰبَآءَهُمۡ ضَآلِّيۡنَۙ ﴿69﴾

Indeed they found their fathers astray.
یقین مانو ! کہ انہوں نے اپنے باپ دادا کو بہکا ہوا پایا ۔

فَهُمۡ عَلٰٓى اٰثٰرِهِمۡ يُهۡرَعُوۡنَ ﴿70﴾

So they hastened [to follow] in their footsteps.
اور یہ انہی کے نشان قدم پر دوڑتے رہے ۔

وَلَـقَدۡ ضَلَّ قَبۡلَهُمۡ اَكۡثَرُ الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَۙ ﴿71﴾

And there had already strayed before them most of the former peoples,
ان سے پہلے بھی بہت سے اگلے بہک چکے ہیں ۔

وَلَقَدۡ اَرۡسَلۡنَا فِيۡهِمۡ مُّنۡذِرِيۡنَ ﴿72﴾

And We had already sent among them warners.
جن میں ہم نے ڈرانے والے ( رسول ) بھیجے تھے ۔

فَانْظُرۡ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الۡمُنۡذَرِيۡنَۙ ﴿73﴾

Then look how was the end of those who were warned -
اب تو دیکھ لے کہ جنہیں دھمکایا گیا تھا ان کا انجام کیسا کچھ ہوا ۔

اِلَّا عِبَادَ اللّٰهِ الۡمُخۡلَصِيۡنَ ﴿74﴾

But not the chosen servants of Allah .
سوائے اللہ کے برگزیدہ بندوں کے ۔

وَلَقَدۡ نَادٰٮنَا نُوۡحٌ فَلَنِعۡمَ الۡمُجِيۡبُوۡنَ ۖ ﴿75﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders.
اور ہمیں نوح ( علیہ السلام ) نے پکارا تو ( دیکھ لو ) ہم کیسے اچھے دعا قبول کرنے والے ہیں ۔

وَنَجَّيۡنٰهُ وَاَهۡلَهٗ مِنَ الۡكَرۡبِ الۡعَظِيۡمِ ۖ ﴿76﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And We saved him and his family from the great affliction.
ہم نے اسے اور اس کے گھر والوں کو اس زبردست مصیبت سے بچا لیا ۔

وَجَعَلۡنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهٗ هُمُ الۡبٰقِيۡنَ ۖ ﴿77﴾

And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth]
اور اس کی اولاد کو ہم نے باقی رہنے والی بنا دی ۔

وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ فِى الۡاٰخِرِيۡنَ ۖ ﴿78﴾

And left for him [favorable mention] among later generations:
اور ہم نے اس کا ( ذکر خیر ) پچھلوں میں باقی رکھا ۔

سَلٰمٌ عَلٰى نُوۡحٍ فِى الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَ ﴿79﴾

"Peace upon Noah among the worlds."
نوح ( علیہ السلام ) پر تمام جہانوں میں سلام ہو ۔

اِنَّا كَذٰلِكَ نَجۡزِى الۡمُحۡسِنِيۡنَ ﴿80﴾

Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.
ہم نیکی کرنے والوں کو اسی طرح بدلہ دیتے ہیں ۔

اِنَّهٗ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ ﴿81﴾

Indeed, he was of Our believing servants.

ثُمَّ اَغۡرَقۡنَا الۡاٰخَرِيۡنَ ﴿82﴾

Then We drowned the disbelievers.
پھر ہم نے دوسروں کو ڈبو دیا ۔

وَاِنَّ مِنۡ شِيۡعَتِهٖ لَاِبۡرٰهِيۡمَۘ ﴿83﴾

And indeed, among his kind was Abraham,
اور اس ( نوح علیہ السلام کی ) تابعداری کرنے والوں میں سے ( ہی ) ابراہیم ( علیہ السلام بھی ) تھے ۔

اِذۡ جَآءَ رَبَّهٗ بِقَلۡبٍ سَلِيۡمٍ ﴿84﴾

When he came to his Lord with a sound heart
جبکہ اپنے رب کے پاس بے عیب دل لائے ۔

اِذۡ قَالَ لِاَبِيۡهِ وَقَوۡمِهٖ مَاذَا تَعۡبُدُوۡنَۚ ﴿85﴾

[And] when he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship?
انہوں نے اپنے باپ اور اپنی قوم سے کہا کہ تم کیا پوج رہے ہو؟

اَٮِٕفۡكًا اٰلِهَةً دُوۡنَ اللّٰهِ تُرِيۡدُوۡنَؕ ﴿86﴾

Is it falsehood [as] gods other than Allah you desire?
کیا تم اللہ کے سوا گھڑے ہوئے معبود چاہتے ہو؟

فَمَا ظَنُّكُمۡ بِرَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَ ﴿87﴾

Then what is your thought about the Lord of the worlds?"
تو یہ ( بتلاؤ کہ ) تم نے رب العالمین کو کیا سمجھ رکھا ہے؟

فَنَظَرَ نَظۡرَةً فِى النُّجُوۡمِۙ ﴿88﴾

And he cast a look at the stars
اب ابراہیم ( علیہ السلام ) نے ایک نگاہ ستاروں کی طرف اٹھائی ۔

فَقَالَ اِنِّىۡ سَقِيۡمٌ ﴿89﴾

And said, "Indeed, I am [about to be] ill."

فَتَوَلَّوۡا عَنۡهُ مُدۡبِرِيۡنَ ﴿90﴾

So they turned away from him, departing.

فَرَاغَ اِلٰٓى اٰلِهَتِهِمۡ فَقَالَ اَلَا تَاۡكُلُوۡنَۚ ﴿91﴾

Then he turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat?
آپ ( چپ چپاتے ) ان کے معبودوں کے پاس گئے اور فرمانے لگے تم کھاتے کیوں نہیں؟

مَا لَـكُمۡ لَا تَنۡطِقُوۡنَ ﴿92﴾

What is [wrong] with you that you do not speak?"
تمہیں کیا ہوگیا کہ بات تک نہیں کرتے ہو ۔

فَرَاغَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ضَرۡبًۢا بِالۡيَمِيۡنِ ﴿93﴾

And he turned upon them a blow with [his] right hand.
پھر تو ( پوری قوت کے ساتھ ) دائیں ہاتھ سے انہیں مارنے پر پل پڑے ۔

فَاَقۡبَلُوۡۤا اِلَيۡهِ يَزِفُّوۡنَ ﴿94﴾

Then the people came toward him, hastening.
وہ ( بت پرست ) دوڑے بھاگے آپ کی طرف متوجہ ہوئے ۔

قَالَ اَتَعۡبُدُوۡنَ مَا تَنۡحِتُوۡنَۙ ﴿95﴾

He said, "Do you worship that which you [yourselves] carve,
تو آپ نے فرمایا تم انہیں پوجتے ہو جنہیں ( خود ) تم تراشتے ہو ۔

وَاللّٰهُ خَلَقَكُمۡ وَمَا تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ﴿96﴾

While Allah created you and that which you do?"
حالانکہ تمہیں اور تمہاری بنائی ہوئی چیزوں کو اللہ ہی نے پیدا کیا ہے ۔

قَالُوا ابۡنُوۡا لَهٗ بُنۡيَانًا فَاَلۡقُوۡهُ فِى الۡجَحِيۡمِ ﴿97﴾

They said, "Construct for him a furnace and throw him into the burning fire."
وہ کہنے لگے اس کے لئے ایک مکان بناؤ اور اس ( دھکتی ہوئی ) آگ میں اسے ڈال دو ۔

فَاَرَادُوۡا بِهٖ كَيۡدًا فَجَعَلۡنٰهُمُ الۡاَسۡفَلِيۡنَ ﴿98﴾

And they intended for him a plan, but We made them the most debased.
انہوں نے تو اس ( ابراہیم علیہ السلام ) کے ساتھ مکر کرنا چاہا لیکن ہم نے انہی کو نیچا کر دیا ۔

وَقَالَ اِنِّىۡ ذَاهِبٌ اِلٰى رَبِّىۡ سَيَهۡدِيۡنِ ﴿99﴾

And [then] he said, "Indeed, I will go to [where I am ordered by] my Lord; He will guide me.
اور اس ( ابراہیم علیہ السلام ) نے کہا میں تو ہجر ت کر کے اپنے پروردگار کی طرف جانے والا ہوں وہ ضرور میری رہنمائی کرے گا ۔

رَبِّ هَبۡ لِىۡ مِنَ الصّٰلِحِيۡنَ ﴿100﴾

My Lord, grant me [a child] from among the righteous."
اے میرے رب! مجھے نیک بخت اولاد عطا فرما ۔

فَبَشَّرۡنٰهُ بِغُلٰمٍ حَلِيۡمٍ ﴿101﴾

So We gave him good tidings of a forbearing boy.
تو ہم نے اسے ایک بردبار بچے کی بشارت دی ۔

فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ السَّعۡىَ قَالَ يٰبُنَىَّ اِنِّىۡۤ اَرٰى فِى الۡمَنَامِ اَنِّىۡۤ اَذۡبَحُكَ فَانْظُرۡ مَاذَا تَرٰىؕ قَالَ يٰۤاَبَتِ افۡعَلۡ مَا تُؤۡمَرُ سَتَجِدُنِىۡۤ اِنۡ شَآءَ اللّٰهُ مِنَ الصّٰبِرِيۡنَ ﴿102﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, "O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think." He said, "O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, of the steadfast."
پھر جب وہ ( بچہ ) اتنی عمر کو پہنچا کہ اس کے ساتھ چلے پھرے ، تو اس ( ابراہیم علیہ السلام ) نے کہا کہ میرے پیارے بچے! میں خواب میں اپنے آپ کو تجھے ذبح کرتے ہوئے دیکھ رہا ہوں ۔ اب تو بتا کہ تیری کیا رائے ہے بیٹے نے جواب دیا کہ ابا! جو حکم ہوا ہے اسے بجا لائیے انشاءاللہ آپ مجھے صبر کرنے والوں میں پائیں گے ۔

فَلَمَّاۤ اَسۡلَمَا وَتَلَّهٗ لِلۡجَبِيۡنِۚ ﴿103﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And when they had both submitted and he put him down upon his forehead,
غرض جب دونوں مطیع ہو گے اور اس نے ( باپ نے ) اس کو ( بیٹے کو ) پیشانی کے بل گرا دیا ۔

وَنَادَيۡنٰهُ اَنۡ يّٰۤاِبۡرٰهِيۡمُۙ ﴿104﴾

We called to him, "O Abraham,
تو ہم نے آواز دی کہ اے ابراہیم! ۔

قَدۡ صَدَّقۡتَ الرُّءۡيَا ۚ اِنَّا كَذٰلِكَ نَجۡزِى الۡمُحۡسِنِيۡنَ ﴿105﴾

You have fulfilled the vision." Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.
یقیناً تو نے اپنے خواب کو سچا کر دکھایا بیشک ہم نیکی کرنے والوں کو اسی طرح جزا دیتے ہیں ۔

اِنَّ هٰذَا لَهُوَ الۡبَلٰٓؤُا الۡمُبِيۡنُ ﴿106﴾

Indeed, this was the clear trial.
درحقیقت یہ کھلا امتحان تھا ۔

وَفَدَيۡنٰهُ بِذِبۡحٍ عَظِيۡمٍ ﴿107﴾

And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice,
اور ہم نے ایک بڑا ذبیحہ اس کے فدیہ میں دے دیا ۔

وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ فِى الۡاٰخِرِيۡنَۖ ﴿108﴾

اور ہم نے اس کو اسحاق ( علیہ السلام ) نبی کی بشارت دی جو صالح لوگوں میں سے ہوگا ۔

وَبٰرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ وَعَلٰٓى اِسۡحٰقَؕ وَ مِنۡ ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا مُحۡسِنٌ وَّظَالِمٌ لِّنَفۡسِهٖ مُبِيۡنٌ ﴿113﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And We blessed him and Isaac. But among their descendants is the doer of good and the clearly unjust to himself.
اور ہم نے ابراہیم و اسحاق ( علیہما السلام ) پر برکتیں نازل فرمائیں اور ان دونوں کی اولاد میں بعضے تو نیک بخت ہیں اور بعض اپنے نفس پر صریح ظلم کرنے والے ہیں ۔

وَلَقَدۡ مَنَنَّا عَلٰى مُوۡسٰى وَهٰرُوۡنَۚ ﴿114﴾

And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron.
یقیناً ہم نے موسیٰ اور ہارون ( علیہما السلام ) پر بڑا احسان کیا ۔

وَنَجَّيۡنٰهُمَا وَقَوۡمَهُمَا مِنَ الۡكَرۡبِ الۡعَظِيۡمِۚ ﴿115﴾

And We saved them and their people from the great affliction,
اور انہیں اور ان کی قوم کو بہت بڑے دکھ درد سے نجات دےدی ۔

وَنَصَرۡنٰهُمۡ فَكَانُوۡا هُمُ الۡغٰلِبِيۡنَۚ ﴿116﴾

And We supported them so it was they who overcame.
اور ان کی مدد کی تو وہی غالب رہے ۔

وَاٰتَيۡنٰهُمَا الۡكِتٰبَ الۡمُسۡتَبِيۡنَۚ ﴿117﴾

And We gave them the explicit Scripture,
اور ہم نے انہیں ( واضح اور ) روشن کتاب دی ۔

وَهَدَيۡنٰهُمَا الصِّرَاطَ الۡمُسۡتَقِيۡمَۚ ﴿118﴾

And We guided them on the straight path.
اور انہیں سیدھے راستے پر قائم رکھا ۔

وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمَا فِى الۡاٰخِرِيۡنَۙ ﴿119﴾

And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations:
اور ہم نے ان دونوں کے لئے پیچھے آنے والوں میں یہ بات باقی رکھی ۔

When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah ?

اَتَدۡعُوۡنَ بَعۡلًا وَّتَذَرُوۡنَ اَحۡسَنَ الۡخٰلِقِيۡنَۙ ﴿125﴾

Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators -
کیا تم بعل ( نامی بت ) کو پکارتے ہو؟ اور سب سے بہتر خالق کو چھوڑ دیتے ہو؟

اللّٰهَ رَبَّكُمۡ وَرَبَّ اٰبَآٮِٕكُمُ الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَ ﴿126﴾

Allah , your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?"
اللہ جو تمہا را اور تمہارے اگلے تمام باپ دادوں کا رب ہے ۔

فَكَذَّبُوۡهُ فَاِنَّهُمۡ لَمُحۡضَرُوۡنَۙ ﴿127﴾

And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment],
لیکن قوم نے انہیں جھٹلایا ، پس وہ ضرور ( عذاب میں ) حاضر رکھے جائیں گے ۔

وَاِنَّ لُوۡطًا لَّمِنَ الۡمُرۡسَلِيۡنَؕ ﴿133﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And indeed, Lot was among the messengers.
بیشک لوط ( علیہ السلام بھی ) پیغمبروں میں سے تھے ۔

اِذۡ نَجَّيۡنٰهُ وَاَهۡلَهٗۤ اَجۡمَعِيۡنَۙ ﴿134﴾

[So mention] when We saved him and his family, all,
ہم نے انہیں اور ان کے گھر والوں کو سب کو نجات دی ۔

اِلَّا عَجُوۡزًا فِى الۡغٰبِرِيۡنَ ﴿135﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers].
بجز اس بڑھیا کے جو پیچھے رہ جانے والوں میں رہ گئی ۔

ثُمَّ دَمَّرۡنَا الۡاٰخَرِيۡنَ ﴿136﴾

Then We destroyed the others.
پھر ہم نے اوروں کو ہلاک کر دیا ۔

وَاِنَّكُمۡ لَتَمُرُّوۡنَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ مُّصۡبِحِيۡنَۙ ﴿137﴾

And indeed, you pass by them in the morning
اور تم تو صبح ہونے پر ان کی بستیوں کے پاس سے گزرتے ہو ۔

وَبِالَّيۡلِؕ اَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُوۡنَ ﴿138﴾

And at night. Then will you not use reason?
اور رات کو بھی ، کیا پھر بھی نہیں سمجھتے؟

وَاِنَّ يُوۡنُسَ لَمِنَ الۡمُرۡسَلِيۡنَؕ ﴿139﴾

And indeed, Jonah was among the messengers.
اور بلاشبہ یونس ( علیہ السلام ) نبیوں میں سے تھے ۔

اِذۡ اَبَقَ اِلَى الۡفُلۡكِ الۡمَشۡحُوۡنِۙ ﴿140﴾

[Mention] when he ran away to the laden ship.
جب بھاگ کر پہنچے بھری کشتی پر ۔

فَسَاهَمَ فَكَانَ مِنَ الۡمُدۡحَضِيۡنَۚ ﴿141﴾

And he drew lots and was among the losers.
پھر قرعہ اندازی ہوئی تو یہ مغلوب ہوگئے ۔

فَالۡتَقَمَهُ الۡحُوۡتُ وَهُوَ مُلِيۡمٌ ﴿142﴾

Then the fish swallowed him, while he was blameworthy.
تو پھر انہیں مچھلی نے نگل لیا اور وہ خود اپنے آپ کو ملامت کرنے لگ گئے ۔

فَلَوۡلَاۤ اَنَّهٗ كَانَ مِنَ الۡمُسَبِّحِيۡنَۙ ﴿143﴾

And had he not been of those who exalt Allah ,
پس اگر یہ پاکی بیان کرنے والوں میں سے نہ ہوتے ۔

لَلَبِثَ فِىۡ بَطۡنِهٖۤ اِلٰى يَوۡمِ يُبۡعَثُوۡنَۚ ﴿144﴾

He would have remained inside its belly until the Day they are resurrected.
تو لوگوں کے اٹھائے جانے کے دن تک اس کے پیٹ میں ہی رہتے ۔

فَنَبَذۡنٰهُ بِالۡعَرَآءِ وَهُوَ سَقِيۡمٌۚ ﴿145﴾

But We threw him onto the open shore while he was ill.
پس انہیں ہم نے چٹیل میدان میں ڈال دیا اور وہ اس وقت بیمار تھے ۔

وَاَنۡۢبَتۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ شَجَرَةً مِّنۡ يَّقۡطِيۡنٍۚ ﴿146﴾

And We caused to grow over him a gourd vine.
اور ان پر سایہ کرنے والا ایک بیل دار درخت ہم نے اگاہ دیا ۔

وَاَرۡسَلۡنٰهُ اِلٰى مِائَةِ اَلۡفٍ اَوۡ يَزِيۡدُوۡنَۚ ﴿147﴾

And We sent him to [his people of] a hundred thousand or more.
اور ہم نے انہیں ایک لاکھ بلکہ اور زیادہ آدمیوں کی طرف بھیجا ۔

فَاٰمَنُوۡا فَمَتَّعۡنٰهُمۡ اِلٰى حِيۡنٍؕ ﴿148﴾

And they believed, so We gave them enjoyment [of life] for a time.
پس وہ ایمان لائے اور ہم نے انہیں ایک زمانہ تک عیش و عشرت دی ۔

فَاسۡتَفۡتِهِمۡ اَلِرَبِّكَ الۡبَنَاتُ وَلَهُمُ الۡبَنُوۡنَۙ ﴿149﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
So inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Does your Lord have daughters while they have sons?
ان سے دریافت کیجئے! کہ کیا آپ کے رب کی تو بیٹیاں ہیں اور ان کے بیٹے ہیں؟

اَمۡ خَلَقۡنَا الۡمَلٰٓٮِٕكَةَ اِنَاثًا وَّهُمۡ شٰهِدُوۡنَ ﴿150﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Or did We create the angels as females while they were witnesses?"
یا یہ اس وقت موجود تھے جبکہ ہم نے فرشتوں کو مؤنث پیدا کیا ۔

اَلَاۤ اِنَّهُمۡ مِّنۡ اِفۡكِهِمۡ لَيَقُوۡلُوۡنَۙ ﴿151﴾

Unquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say,
آگاہ رہو! کہ یہ لوگ صرف اپنی افترا پروازی سے کہہ رہے ہیں ۔

وَلَدَ اللّٰهُۙ وَاِنَّهُمۡ لَـكٰذِبُوۡنَ ﴿152﴾

" Allah has begotten," and indeed, they are liars.
کہ اللہ تعالٰی کی اولاد ہے ۔ یقیناً یہ محض جھوٹے ہیں ۔

اَصۡطَفَى الۡبَنَاتِ عَلَى الۡبَنِيۡنَؕ ﴿153﴾

Has He chosen daughters over sons?
کیا اللہ تعالٰی نے اپنے لئے بیٹیوں کو بیٹوں پر ترجیح دی ۔

مَا لَـكُمۡ كَيۡفَ تَحۡكُمُوۡنَ ﴿154﴾

What is [wrong] with you? How do you make judgement?
تمہیں کیا ہوگیا ہے کیسے حکم لگاتے پھرتے ہو؟

اَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُوۡنَۚ ﴿155﴾

Then will you not be reminded?
کیا تم اس قدر بھی نہیں سمجھتے؟

اَمۡ لَـكُمۡ سُلۡطٰنٌ مُّبِيۡنٌۙ ﴿156﴾

Or do you have a clear authority?
یا تمہارے پاس اس کی کوئی صاف دلیل ہے ۔

فَاۡتُوۡا بِكِتٰبِكُمۡ اِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ صٰدِقِيۡنَ ﴿157﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Then produce your scripture, if you should be truthful.
تو جاؤ اگر سچے ہو تو اپنی ہی کتاب لے آؤ ۔

وَجَعَلُوۡا بَيۡنَهٗ وَبَيۡنَ الۡجِنَّةِ نَسَبًا ؕ وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمَتِ الۡجِنَّةُ اِنَّهُمۡ لَمُحۡضَرُوۡنَۙ ﴿158﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And they have claimed between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought to [punishment].
اور ان لوگوں نے تو اللہ کے اور جنات کے درمیان بھی قرابت داری ٹھہرائی ہے ، اور حالانکہ خود جنات کو معلوم ہے کہ وہ ( اس عقیدے کے لوگ عذاب کے سامنے ) پیش کئے جائیں گے ۔

سُبۡحٰنَ اللّٰهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُوۡنَۙ ﴿159﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Exalted is Allah above what they describe,
جو کچھ یہ ( اللہ کے بارے میں ) بیان کر رہے ہیں اس سے اللہ تعالٰی بالکل پاک ہے ۔

اِلَّا عِبَادَ اللّٰهِ الۡمُخۡلَصِيۡنَ ﴿160﴾

Except the chosen servants of Allah [who do not share in that sin].
سوائے! اللہ کے مخلص بندوں کے

فَاِنَّكُمۡ وَمَا تَعۡبُدُوۡنَۙ ﴿161﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
So indeed, you [disbelievers] and whatever you worship,
یقین مانو کہ تم سب اور تمہارے معبودان ( باطل ) ۔

مَاۤ اَنۡـتُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ بِفٰتِنِيۡنَۙ ﴿162﴾

You cannot tempt [anyone] away from Him
کسی ایک کو بھی بہکا نہیں سکتے ۔

اِلَّا مَنۡ هُوَ صَالِ الۡجَحِيۡمِ ﴿163﴾

Except he who is to [enter and] burn in the Hellfire.
بجز اس کے جو جہنمی ہی ہے ۔

وَمَا مِنَّاۤ اِلَّا لَهٗ مَقَامٌ مَّعۡلُوۡمٌۙ ﴿164﴾

[The angels say], "There is not among us any except that he has a known position.
۔ ( فرشتوں کا قول ہے کہ ) ہم میں سے تو ہر ایک کی جگہ مقرر ہے ۔

وَّاِنَّا لَـنَحۡنُ الصَّآفُّوۡنَۚ ﴿165﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And indeed, we are those who line up [for prayer].
اور ہم تو ( بندگی الٰہی میں ) صف بستہ کھڑے ہیں ۔

وَاِنَّا لَـنَحۡنُ الۡمُسَبِّحُوۡنَ ﴿166﴾

And indeed, we are those who exalt Allah ."

وَاِنۡ كَانُوۡا لَيَقُوۡلُوۡنَۙ ﴿167﴾

And indeed, the disbelievers used to say,
کفار تو کہا کرتے تھے ۔

لَوۡ اَنَّ عِنۡدَنَا ذِكۡرًا مِّنَ الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَۙ ﴿168﴾

"If we had a message from [those of] the former peoples,
کہ اگر ہمارے سامنے اگلے لوگوں کا ذکر ہوتا ۔

لَـكُنَّا عِبَادَ اللّٰهِ الۡمُخۡلَصِيۡنَ ﴿169﴾

We would have been the chosen servants of Allah ."
تو ہم بھی اللہ کے چیدہ بندے بن جاتے ۔

فَكَفَرُوۡا بِهٖ فَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿170﴾

But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know.
لیکن پھر اِس قرآن کے ساتھ کفر کر گئے پس اب عنقریب جان لیں گے ۔

وَلَقَدۡ سَبَقَتۡ كَلِمَتُنَا لِعِبَادِنَا الۡمُرۡسَلِيۡنَ ۖۚ ﴿171﴾

And Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers,
اور البتہ ہمارا وعدہ پہلے ہی اپنے رسولوں کے لئے صادر ہو چکا ہے ۔

اِنَّهُمۡ لَهُمُ الۡمَنۡصُوۡرُوۡنَ ﴿172﴾

[That] indeed, they would be those given victory
کہ یقیناً وہ ہی مدد کئے جائیں گے ۔

وَاِنَّ جُنۡدَنَا لَهُمُ الۡغٰلِبُوۡنَ ﴿173﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And [that] indeed, Our soldiers will be those who overcome.
اور ہمارا ہی لشکر غالب ( اور برتر ) رہے گا ۔

فَتَوَلَّ عَنۡهُمۡ حَتّٰى حِيۡنٍۙ ﴿174﴾

So, [O Muhammad], leave them for a time.
اب آپ کچھ دنوں تک ان سےمنہ پھیر لیجئے ۔

وَاَبۡصِرۡهُمۡ فَسَوۡفَ يُبۡصِرُوۡنَ ﴿175﴾

And see [what will befall] them, for they are going to see.
اور انہیں دیکھتے رہیئے اور یہ بھی آگے چل کر دیکھ لیں گے ۔

اَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسۡتَعۡجِلُوۡنَ ﴿176﴾

Then for Our punishment are they impatient?
کیا یہ ہمارے عذاب کی جلدی مچا رہے ہیں؟

فَاِذَا نَزَلَ بِسَاحَتِهِمۡ فَسَآءَ صَبَاحُ الۡمُنۡذَرِيۡنَ ﴿177﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
But when it descends in their territory, then evil is the morning of those who were warned.
سنو! جب ہمارا عذاب ان کے میدان میں اتر آئے گا اس وقت ان کی جن کو متنبہ کر دیا گیا تھا بڑی بری صبح ہوگی ۔

وَتَوَلَّ عَنۡهُمۡ حَتّٰى حِيۡنٍۙ ﴿178﴾

And leave them for a time.
آپ کچھ وقت تک ان کا خیال چھوڑ دیجئے ۔

وَّاَبۡصِرۡ فَسَوۡفَ يُبۡصِرُوۡنَ ﴿179﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And see, for they are going to see.
اور دیکھتے رہیئے یہ بھی ابھی ابھی دیکھ لیں گے ۔

سُبۡحٰنَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الۡعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُوۡنَۚ ﴿180﴾

Exalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe.
پاک ہے آپ کا رب جو بہت بڑی عزت والا ہے ہر اس چیز سے ( جو مشرک ) بیان کرتے ہیں ۔

وَسَلٰمٌ عَلَى الۡمُرۡسَلِيۡنَۚ ﴿181﴾

And peace upon the messengers.
پیغمبروں پر سلام ہے ۔

وَالۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَ ﴿182﴾

And praise to Allah , Lord of the worlds.
اور سب طرح کی تعریف اللہ کے لئے ہے جو سارے جہان کا رب ہے ۔
