In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
شروع کرتا ہوں اللہ تعا لٰی کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے ۔

وَالطُّوۡرِۙ ﴿1﴾

By the mount
قسم ہے طور کی ۔

وَكِتٰبٍ مَّسۡطُوۡرٍۙ ﴿2﴾

And [by] a Book inscribed
اور لکھی ہوئی کتاب کی ۔

فِىۡ رَقٍّ مَّنۡشُوۡرٍۙ ﴿3﴾

In parchment spread open
جو جھلی کے کھلے ہوئے ورق میں ہے ۔

وَالۡبَيۡتِ الۡمَعۡمُوۡرِۙ ﴿4﴾

And [by] the frequented House
وہ آباد گھر کی ۔

وَالسَّقۡفِ الۡمَرۡفُوۡعِۙ ﴿5﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And [by] the heaven raised high
اور اونچی چھت کی ۔

وَالۡبَحۡرِ الۡمَسۡجُوۡرِۙ ﴿6﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And [by] the sea filled [with fire],
اور بھڑکائے ہوئے سمندر کی ۔

اِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ لوَاقِعٌ ۙ ﴿7﴾

Indeed, the punishment of your Lord will occur.
بیشک آپ کے رب کا عذاب ہو کر رہنے والا ہے ۔

مَّا لَهٗ مِنۡ دَافِعٍۙ ﴿8﴾

Of it there is no preventer.
اسے کوئی روکنے والا نہیں ۔

يَّوۡمَ تَمُوۡرُ السَّمَآءُ مَوۡرًا ۙ ﴿9﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
On the Day the heaven will sway with circular motion
جس دن آسمان تھرتھرانے لگے گا ۔

وَّتَسِيۡرُ الۡجِبَالُ سَيۡرًا ؕ ﴿10﴾

And the mountains will pass on, departing -
اور پہاڑ چلنے پھرنے لگیں گے ۔

فَوَيۡلٌ يَّوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لِّـلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَۙ ﴿11﴾

Then woe, that Day, to the deniers,
اس دن جھٹلانے والوں کی ( پوری ) خرابی ہے ۔

الَّذِيۡنَ هُمۡ فِىۡ خَوۡضٍ يَّلۡعَبُوۡنَۘ ﴿12﴾

Who are in [empty] discourse amusing themselves.
جو اپنی بیہودہ گوئی میں اچھل کود کر رہے ہیں ۔

يَوۡمَ يُدَعُّوۡنَ اِلٰى نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ دَعًّاؕ ﴿13﴾

The Day they are thrust toward the fire of Hell with a [violent] thrust, [its angels will say],
جس دن وہ دھکے دے دے کر آتش جہنم کی طرف لائے جائیں گے ۔

هٰذِهِ النَّارُ الَّتِىۡ كُنۡتُمۡ بِهَا تُكَذِّبُوۡنَ ﴿14﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
"This is the Fire which you used to deny.
یہی وہ آتش دوزخ ہے جسے تم جھوٹ بتلاتے تھے ۔

اَفَسِحۡرٌ هٰذَاۤ اَمۡ اَنۡتُمۡ لَا تُبۡصِرُوۡنَۚ ﴿15﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Then is this magic, or do you not see?
۔ ( اب بتاؤ ) کیا یہ جادو ہے؟ یا تم دیکھتے ہی نہیں ہو ۔

اِصۡلَوۡهَا فَاصۡبِرُوۡۤا اَوۡ لَا تَصۡبِرُوۡاۚ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيۡكُمۡؕ اِنَّمَا تُجۡزَوۡنَ مَا كُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ﴿16﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
[Enter to] burn therein; then be patient or impatient - it is all the same for you. You are only being recompensed [for] what you used to do."
جاؤ دوزخ میں اب تمہارا صبر کرنا اور نہ کرنا تمہارے لئے یکساں ہے ۔ تمہیں فقط تمہارے کئے کا بدلہ دیا جائے گا ۔

اِنَّ الۡمُتَّقِيۡنَ فِىۡ جَنّٰتٍ وَّنَعِيۡمٍۙ ﴿17﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, the righteous will be in gardens and pleasure,
یقیناً پرہیزگار لوگ جنتوں میں اور نعمتوں میں ہیں ۔

فٰكِهِيۡنَ بِمَاۤ اٰتٰٮهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡۚ وَوَقٰٮهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ عَذَابَ الۡجَحِيۡمِ ﴿18﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Enjoying what their Lord has given them, and their Lord protected them from the punishment of Hellfire.
جو انہیں ان کے رب نے دے رکھی ہیں اس پر خوش خوش ہیں اور ان کے پروردگار نے انہیں جہنم کے عذاب سے بھی بچا لیا ہے ۔

كُلُوۡا وَاشۡرَبُوۡا هَـنِٓـيـْئًا ۢ بِمَا كُنۡـتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُوۡنَۙ ﴿19﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
[They will be told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do."
تم مزے سے کھاتے پیتے رہو ان اعمال کے بدلے جو تم کرتے تھے ۔

مُتَّكِـــِٕيۡنَ عَلٰى سُرُرٍ مَّصۡفُوۡفَةٍ ۚ وَزَوَّجۡنٰهُمۡ بِحُوۡرٍ عِيۡنٍ ﴿20﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
They will be reclining on thrones lined up, and We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes.
برابر بچھے ہوئے شاندار تختے پر تکیے لگائے ہوئے اور ہم نے ان کے نکاح بڑی بڑی آنکھوں والی ( حوروں ) سے کرا دیئے ہیں ۔

وَالَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَاتَّبَعَتۡهُمۡ ذُرِّيَّتُهُمۡ بِاِيۡمَانٍ اَلۡحَـقۡنَا بِهِمۡ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمۡ وَمَاۤ اَلَـتۡنٰهُمۡ مِّنۡ عَمَلِهِمۡ مِّنۡ شَىۡءٍؕ كُلُّ امۡرِیءٍۢ بِمَا كَسَبَ رَهِيۡنٌ ﴿21﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And those who believed and whose descendants followed them in faith - We will join with them their descendants, and We will not deprive them of anything of their deeds. Every person, for what he earned, is retained.
اور جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور ان کی اولاد نے بھی ایمان میں ان کی پیروی کی ہم ان کی اولاد کو ان تک پہنچا دیں گے اور ان کے عمل سے ہم کچھ کم نہ کریں گے ہر شخص اپنے اپنے اعمال کا گروی ہے ۔

وَاَمۡدَدۡنٰهُمۡ بِفَاكِهَةٍ وَّلَحۡمٍ مِّمَّا يَشۡتَهُوۡنَ ﴿22﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And We will provide them with fruit and meat from whatever they desire.
ہم ان کے لئے میوے اور مرغوب گوشت کی ریل پیل کر دیں گے ۔

يَـتَـنَازَعُوۡنَ فِيۡهَا كَاۡسًا لَّا لَغۡوٌ فِيۡهَا وَلَا تَاۡثِيۡمٌ ﴿23﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
They will exchange with one another a cup [of wine] wherein [results] no ill speech or commission of sin.
۔ ( خوش طبعی کے ساتھ ) ایک دوسرے سے جام ( شراب ) کی چھینا جھپٹی کریں گے جس شراب کے سرور میں تو بیہودہ گوئی ہوگی نہ گناہ ۔

وَيَطُوۡفُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ غِلۡمَانٌ لَّهُمۡ كَاَنَّهُمۡ لُـؤۡلُـؤٌ مَّكۡنُوۡنٌ ﴿24﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
There will circulate among them [servant] boys [especially] for them, as if they were pearls well-protected.
اور ان کے ارد گرد ان کے نو عمر غلام پھر رہے ہونگے ، گویا کہ وہ موتی تھے جو ڈھکے رکھے تھے ۔

وَاَقۡبَلَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلٰى بَعۡضٍ يَّتَسَآءَلُوۡنَ ﴿25﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other.
اور آپس میں ایک دوسرے کی طرف متوجہ ہو کر سوال کریں گے ۔

قَالُـوۡۤا اِنَّا كُـنَّا قَبۡلُ فِىۡۤ اَهۡلِنَا مُشۡفِقِيۡنَ ﴿26﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
They will say, "Indeed, we were previously among our people fearful [of displeasing Allah ].
کہیں گے کہ اس سے پہلے ہم اپنے گھر والوں کے درمیان بہت ڈرا کرتے تھے ۔

فَمَنَّ اللّٰهُ عَلَيۡنَا وَوَقٰٮنَا عَذَابَ السَّمُوۡمِ ﴿27﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
So Allah conferred favor upon us and protected us from the punishment of the Scorching Fire.
پس اللہ تعالٰی نے ہم پر بڑا احسان کیا اور ہمیں تیز و تند گرم ہواؤں کے عذاب سے بچا لیا ۔

اِنَّا كُـنَّا مِنۡ قَبۡلُ نَدۡعُوۡهُ ؕ اِنَّهٗ هُوَ الۡبَـرُّ الرَّحِيۡمُ ﴿28﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, we used to supplicate Him before. Indeed, it is He who is the Beneficent, the Merciful."
ہم اس سے پہلے ہی اس کی عبادت کیا کرتے تھے بیشک وہ محسن اور مہربان ہے ۔

فَذَكِّرۡ فَمَاۤ اَنۡتَ بِنِعۡمَتِ رَبِّكَ بِكَاهِنٍ وَّلَا مَجۡنُوۡنٍؕ ﴿29﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
So remind [O Muhammad], for you are not, by the favor of your Lord, a soothsayer or a madman.
تو آپ سمجھاتے رہیں کیونکہ آپ اپنے رب کے فضل سے نہ تو کاہن ہیں نہ دیوانہ ۔

اَمۡ يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ شَاعِرٌ نَّتَـرَبَّصُ بِهٖ رَيۡبَ الۡمَنُوۡنِ ﴿30﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Or do they say [of you], "A poet for whom we await a misfortune of time?"
کیا کافر یوں کہتے ہیں کہ یہ شاعر ہے ہم اس پر زمانے کے حوادث ( یعنی موت ) کا انتظار کر رہے ہیں ۔

قُلۡ تَرَبَّصُوۡا فَاِنِّىۡ مَعَكُمۡ مِّنَ الۡمُتَـرَبِّصِيۡنَ ؕ ﴿31﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Say, "Wait, for indeed I am, with you, among the waiters."
کہہ دیجئے! تم منتظر رہو میں بھی تمہارے ساتھ انتظار کرنے والوں میں ہوں ۔

اَمۡ تَاۡمُرُهُمۡ اَحۡلَامُهُمۡ بِهٰذَآ اَمۡ هُمۡ قَوۡمٌ طَاغُوۡنَۚ ﴿32﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Or do their minds command them to [say] this, or are they a transgressing people?
کیا ان کی عقلیں انہیں یہی سکھاتی ہیں؟ یا یہ لوگ ہی سرکش ہیں ۔

اَمۡ يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ تَقَوَّلَهٗ ۚ بَلْ لَّا يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ ۚ ﴿33﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Or do they say, "He has made it up"? Rather, they do not believe.
کیا یہ کہتے ہیں اس نبی نے ( قرآن ) خود گھڑ لیا ہے ، واقع یہ ہے کہ وہ ایمان نہیں لاتے ۔

فَلۡيَاۡتُوۡا بِحَدِيۡثٍ مِّثۡلِهٖۤ اِنۡ كَانُوۡا صٰدِقِيۡنَؕ ﴿34﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Then let them produce a statement like it, if they should be truthful.
اچھا اگر یہ سچے ہیں تو بھلا اس جیسی ایک ( ہی ) بات یہ ( بھی ) تو لے آئیں ۔

اَمۡ خُلِقُوۡا مِنۡ غَيۡرِ شَىۡءٍ اَمۡ هُمُ الۡخٰلِقُوۡنَؕ ﴿35﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Or were they created by nothing, or were they the creators [of themselves]?
کیا یہ بغیر کسی ( پیدا کرنے والے ) کے خود بخود پیدا ہوگئے ہیں؟ یا یہ خود پیدا کرنے والے ہیں ۔

اَمۡ خَلَـقُوا السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضَۚ بَلْ لَّا يُوۡقِنُوۡنَؕ ﴿36﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Rather, they are not certain.
کیا انہوں نے ہی آسمانوں اور زمین کو پیدا کیا ہے ، بلکہ یہ یقین نہ کرنے والے لوگ ہیں ۔

اَمۡ عِنۡدَهُمۡ خَزَآٮِٕنُ رَبِّكَ اَمۡ هُمُ الۡمُصَۜيۡطِرُوۡنَؕ ﴿37﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Or have they the depositories [containing the provision] of your Lord? Or are they the controllers [of them]?
یا کیا ان کے پاس تیرے رب کے خزانے ہیں؟ یا ( ان خزانوں کے ) یہ دروغہ ہیں ۔

اَمۡ لَهُمۡ سُلَّمٌ يَّسۡتَمِعُوۡنَ فِيۡهِ ۚ فَلۡيَاۡتِ مُسۡتَمِعُهُمۡ بِسُلۡطٰنٍ مُّبِيۡنٍؕ ﴿38﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Or have they a stairway [into the heaven] upon which they listen? Then let their listener produce a clear authority.
یا کیا ان کے پاس کوئی سیڑھی ہے جس پر چڑھ کر سنتے ہیں؟ ( اگر ایسا ہے ) تو ان کا سننے والا کوئی روشن دلیل پیش کرے ۔

اَمۡ لَـهُ الۡبَنٰتُ وَلَـكُمُ الۡبَنُوۡنَؕ ﴿39﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Or has He daughters while you have sons?
کیا اللہ کی تو سب لڑکیاں ہیں اور تمہارے ہاں لڑکے ہیں؟

اَمۡ تَسۡـَٔـلُهُمۡ اَجۡرًا فَهُمۡ مِّنۡ مَّغۡرَمٍ مُّثۡقَلُوۡنَؕ ﴿40﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Or do you, [O Muhammad], ask of them a payment, so they are by debt burdened down?
کیا تو ان سے کوئی اجرت طلب کرتا ہے کہ یہ اس کے تاوان سے بو جھل ہو رہے ہیں ۔

اَمۡ عِنۡدَهُمُ الۡغَيۡبُ فَهُمۡ يَكۡتُبُوۡنَؕ ﴿41﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Or have they [knowledge of] the unseen, so they write [it] down?
کیا ان کے پاس علم غیب ہے جسے یہ لکھ لیتے ہیں؟

اَمۡ يُرِيۡدُوۡنَ كَيۡدًاؕ فَالَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا هُمُ الۡمَكِيۡدُوۡنَؕ ﴿42﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Or do they intend a plan? But those who disbelieve - they are the object of a plan.
کیا یہ لوگ کوئی فریب کرنا چاہتے ہیں؟ تو یقین کرلیں کہ فریب خوردہ کافر ہی ہیں ۔

اَمۡ لَهُمۡ اِلٰهٌ غَيۡرُ اللّٰهِؕ سُبۡحٰنَ اللّٰهِ عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُوۡنَ ﴿43﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Or have they a deity other than Allah ? Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him.
کیا اللہ کے سوا ان کا کوئی معبود ہے؟ ( ہرگز نہیں ) اللہ تعالٰی ان کے شرک سے پاک ہے ۔

وَاِنۡ يَّرَوۡا كِسۡفًا مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ سَاقِطًا يَّقُوۡلُوۡا سَحَابٌ مَّرۡكُوۡمٌ ﴿44﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And if they were to see a fragment from the sky falling, they would say, "[It is merely] clouds heaped up."
اگر یہ لوگ آسمان کے کسی ٹکڑے کو گرتا ہوا دیکھ لیں تب بھی کہہ دیں کہ تہ یہ تہ بادل ہے ۔

فَذَرۡهُمۡ حَتّٰى يُلٰقُوۡا يَوۡمَهُمُ الَّذِىۡ فِيۡهِ يُصۡعَقُوۡنَۙ ﴿45﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
So leave them until they meet their Day in which they will be struck insensible -
تو انہیں چھوڑ دے یہاں تک کہ انہیں اس دن سے سابقہ پڑے جس میں یہ بے ہوش کر دیئے جائیں گے ۔

يَوۡمَ لَا يُغۡنِىۡ عَنۡهُمۡ كَيۡدُهُمۡ شَيۡـًٔـا وَّلَا هُمۡ يُنۡصَرُوۡنَؕ ﴿46﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
The Day their plan will not avail them at all, nor will they be helped.
جس دن انہیں ان کا مکر کچھ کام نہ دے گا اور نہ وہ مدد کئے جائیں گے ۔

وَاِنَّ لِلَّذِيۡنَ ظَلَمُوۡا عَذَابًا دُوۡنَ ذٰلِكَ وَلٰـكِنَّ اَكۡثَرَهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿47﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And indeed, for those who have wronged is a punishment before that, but most of them do not know.
بیشک ظالموں کے لئے اس کے علاوہ اور عذاب بھی ہیں لیکن ان لوگوں میں سے اکثر بے علم ہیں ۔

وَاصۡبِرۡ لِحُكۡمِ رَبِّكَ فَاِنَّكَ بِاَعۡيُنِنَا وَسَبِّحۡ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّكَ حِيۡنَ تَقُوۡمُۙ ﴿48﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And be patient, [O Muhammad], for the decision of your Lord, for indeed, you are in Our eyes. And exalt [ Allah ] with praise of your Lord when you arise.
تو اپنے رب کے حکم کے انتظار میں صبر سے کام لے ، بیشک تو ہماری آنکھوں کے سامنے ہے ۔ صبح کو جب تو اٹھے اپنے رب کی پاکی اور حمد بیان کر ۔

وَمِنَ الَّيۡلِ فَسَبِّحۡهُ وَاِدۡبَارَ النُّجُوۡمِ ﴿49﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And in a part of the night exalt Him and after [the setting of] the stars.
اور رات کو بھی اس کی تسبیح پڑھ اور ستاروں کے ڈوبتے وقت بھی ۔
