بِسۡمِ اللهِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِيۡمِ
Eng & Urdu Translations
In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
شروع کرتا ہوں اللہ تعا لٰی کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے ۔
وَيۡلٌ لِّلۡمُطَفِّفِيۡنَۙ ﴿1﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Woe to those who give less [than due],
بڑی خرابی ہے ناپ تول میں کمی کرنے والوں کی ۔
الَّذِيۡنَ اِذَا اكۡتَالُوۡا عَلَى النَّاسِ يَسۡتَوۡفُوۡنَۖ ﴿2﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Who, when they take a measure from people, take in full.
کہ جب لوگوں سے ناپ کر لیتے ہیں تو پورا پورا لیتے ہیں ۔
وَاِذَا كَالُوۡهُمۡ اَوْ وَّزَنُوۡهُمۡ يُخۡسِرُوۡنَؕ ﴿3﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
But if they give by measure or by weight to them, they cause loss.
اورجب انہیں ناپ کر یا تول کر دیتے ہیں تو کم دیتے ہیں ۔
اَلَا يَظُنُّ اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ اَنَّهُمۡ مَّبۡعُوۡثُوۡنَۙ ﴿4﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Do they not think that they will be resurrected
کیا انہیں اپنے مرنے کے بعد جی اٹھنے کا خیال نہیں ۔
لِيَوۡمٍ عَظِيۡمٍۙ ﴿5﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
For a tremendous Day -
اس عظیم دن کے لئے ۔
يَّوۡمَ يَقُوۡمُ النَّاسُ لِرَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَؕ ﴿6﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
The Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the worlds?
جس دن سب لوگ رب العالمین کے سامنے کھڑے ہوں گے ۔
كَلَّاۤ اِنَّ كِتٰبَ الۡفُجَّارِ لَفِىۡ سِجِّيۡنٍؕ ﴿7﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
No! Indeed, the record of the wicked is in sijjeen.
یقیناً بدکاروں کا نامہ اعمال سجین میں ہے ۔
وَمَاۤ اَدۡرٰٮكَ مَا سِجِّيۡنٌؕ ﴿8﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And what can make you know what is sijjeen?
تجھے کیا معلوم سجین کیا ہے ۔
كِتٰبٌ مَّرۡقُوۡمٌؕ ﴿9﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
It is [their destination recorded in] a register inscribed.
۔ ( یہ تو ) لکھی ہوئی کتاب ہے ۔
وَيۡلٌ يَّوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَۙ ﴿10﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Woe, that Day, to the deniers,
اس دن جھٹلانے والوں کی بڑی خرابی ہے ۔
الَّذِيۡنَ يُكَذِّبُوۡنَ بِيَوۡمِ الدِّيۡنِؕ ﴿11﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Who deny the Day of Recompense.
جو جزا و سزا کے دن کو جھٹلاتے رہے ۔
وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ بِهٖۤ اِلَّا كُلُّ مُعۡتَدٍ اَثِيۡمٍۙ ﴿12﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And none deny it except every sinful transgressor.
اسے صرف وہی جھٹلاتا ہے جو حد سے آگے نکل جانے والا ( اور ) گناہگار ہوتا ہے ۔
اِذَا تُتۡلٰى عَلَيۡهِ اٰيٰتُنَا قَالَ اَسَاطِيۡرُ الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَؕ ﴿13﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
When Our verses are recited to him, he says, "Legends of the former peoples."
جب اس کے سامنے ہماری آیتیں پڑھی جاتی ہیں تو کہہ دیتا ہے کہ یہ اگلوں کے افسانے ہیں ۔
كَلَّا بَلۡ رَانَ عَلٰى قُلُوۡبِهِمۡ مَّا كَانُوۡا يَكۡسِبُوۡنَ ﴿14﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
No! Rather, the stain has covered their hearts of that which they were earning.
یوں نہیں بلکہ ان کے دلوں پر ان کے اعمال کی وجہ سے زنگ ( چڑھ گیا ) ہے ۔
كَلَّاۤ اِنَّهُمۡ عَنۡ رَّبِّهِمۡ يَوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لَّمَحۡجُوۡبُوۡنَؕ ﴿15﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
No! Indeed, from their Lord, that Day, they will be partitioned.
ہرگز نہیں یہ لوگ اس دن اپنے رب سے اوٹ میں رکھے جائیں گے ۔
ثُمَّ اِنَّهُمۡ لَصَالُوا الۡجَحِيۡمِؕ ﴿16﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Then indeed, they will [enter and] burn in Hellfire.
پھر یہ لوگ بالیقین جہنم میں جھونکے جائیں گے ۔
ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هٰذَا الَّذِىۡ كُنۡتُمۡ بِهٖ تُكَذِّبُوۡنَؕ ﴿17﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Then it will be said [to them], "This is what you used to deny."
پھر کہہ دیا جائے گا کہ یہی ہے وہ جسے تم جھٹلاتے رہے ۔
كَلَّاۤ اِنَّ كِتٰبَ الۡاَبۡرَارِ لَفِىۡ عِلِّيِّيۡنَؕ ﴿18﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
No! Indeed, the record of the righteous is in 'illiyyun.
یقیناً یقیناً نیکوکاروں کا نامہ اعمال علیین میں ہے ۔
وَمَاۤ اَدۡرٰٮكَ مَا عِلِّيُّوۡنَؕ ﴿19﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And what can make you know what is 'illiyyun?
تجھے کیا پتہ کہ علیین کیا ہے؟
كِتٰبٌ مَّرۡقُوۡمٌۙ ﴿20﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
It is [their destination recorded in] a register inscribed
۔ ( وہ تو ) لکھی ہوئی کتاب ہے ۔
يَّشۡهَدُهُ الۡمُقَرَّبُوۡنَؕ ﴿21﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Which is witnessed by those brought near [to Allah ].
مقرب ( فرشتے ) اس کا مشاہدہ کرتے ہیں ۔
اِنَّ الۡاَبۡرَارَ لَفِىۡ نَعِيۡمٍۙ ﴿22﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure
یقیناً نیک لوگ ( بڑی ) نعمتوں میں ہونگے ۔
عَلَى الۡاَرَآٮِٕكِ يَنۡظُرُوۡنَۙ ﴿23﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
On adorned couches, observing.
مسہریوں میں بیٹھے دیکھ رہے ہونگے ۔
تَعۡرِفُ فِىۡ وُجُوۡهِهِمۡ نَضۡرَةَ النَّعِيۡمِۚ ﴿24﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
You will recognize in their faces the radiance of pleasure.
تو ان کے چہروں سے ہی نعمتوں کی ترو تازگی پہچان لے گا ۔
يُسۡقَوۡنَ مِنۡ رَّحِيۡقٍ مَّخۡتُوۡمٍۙ ﴿25﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
They will be given to drink [pure] wine [which was] sealed.
یہ لوگ سر بمہر خالص شراب پلائے جائیں گے ۔
خِتٰمُهٗ مِسۡكٌ ؕ وَفِىۡ ذٰلِكَ فَلۡيَتَنَافَسِ الْمُتَنَافِسُوۡنَ ﴿26﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
The last of it is musk. So for this let the competitors compete.
جس پر مشک کی مہر ہوگی ، سبقت لے جانے والوں کو اسی میں سبقت کرنی چاہیے ۔
وَ مِزَاجُهٗ مِنۡ تَسۡنِيۡمٍۙ ﴿27﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And its mixture is of Tasneem,
اور اس کی آمیزش تسنیم کی ہوگی ۔
عَيۡنًا يَّشۡرَبُ بِهَا الۡمُقَرَّبُوۡنَؕ ﴿28﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
A spring from which those near [to Allah ] drink.
۔ ( یعنی ) وہ چشمہ جس کا پانی مقرب لوگ پیئں گے ۔
اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ اَجۡرَمُوۡا كَانُوۡا مِنَ الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا يَضۡحَكُوۡنَ ۖ ﴿29﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed.
گنہگار لوگ ایمان والوں کی ہنسی اڑیا کرتے تھے ۔
وَاِذَا مَرُّوۡا بِهِمۡ يَتَغَامَزُوۡنَ ۖ ﴿30﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And when they passed by them, they would exchange derisive glances.
ان کے پاس سے گزرتے ہوئے آپس میں آنکھ کے اشارے کرتے تھے ۔
وَاِذَا انۡقَلَبُوۡۤا اِلٰٓى اَهۡلِهِمُ انْقَلَبُوۡا فَكِهِيۡنَ ۖ ﴿31﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And when they returned to their people, they would return jesting.
اور جب اپنے والوں کی طرف لوٹتے تو دل لگیاں کرتے تھے ۔
وَاِذَا رَاَوۡهُمۡ قَالُوۡۤا اِنَّ هٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ لَـضَآلُّوۡنَۙ ﴿32﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And when they saw them, they would say, "Indeed, those are truly lost."
اور جب انہیں دیکھتے تو کہتے یقیناً یہ لوگ گمراہ ( بے راہ ) ہیں ۔
وَمَاۤ اُرۡسِلُوۡا عَلَيۡهِمۡ حٰفِظِيۡنَۙ ﴿33﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
But they had not been sent as guardians over them.
یہ ان پر پاسبان بنا کر تو نہیں بھیجے گئے ۔
فَالۡيَوۡمَ الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا مِنَ الۡكُفَّارِ يَضۡحَكُوۡنَۙ ﴿34﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
So Today those who believed are laughing at the disbelievers,
پس آج ایمان والے ان کافروں پر ہنسیں گے ۔
عَلَى الۡاَرَآٮِٕكِۙ يَنۡظُرُوۡنَؕ ﴿35﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
On adorned couches, observing.
تختوں پر بیٹھے دیکھ رہے ہونگے ۔
هَلۡ ثُوِّبَ الۡكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُوۡا يَفۡعَلُوۡنَ ﴿36﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Have the disbelievers [not] been rewarded [this Day] for what they used to do?
کہ اب ان منکروں نے جیسا یہ کرتے تھے پورا پورا بدلہ پا لیا ۔
