بِسۡمِ اللهِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِيۡمِ
Eng & Urdu Translations
In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
شروع کرتا ہوں اللہ تعا لٰی کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے ۔
اِذَا السَّمَآءُ انْشَقَّتۡۙ ﴿1﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
When the sky has split [open]
جب آسمان پھٹ جائے گا ۔
وَاَذِنَتۡ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتۡۙ ﴿2﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And has responded to its Lord and was obligated [to do so]
اور اپنے رب کے حکم پر کان لگائے گا اوراسی کے لائق وہ ہے ۔
وَاِذَا الۡاَرۡضُ مُدَّتۡؕ ﴿3﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And when the earth has been extended
اور جب زمین ( کھینچ کر ) پھیلا دی جائے گی ۔
وَاَلۡقَتۡ مَا فِيۡهَا وَتَخَلَّتۡۙ ﴿4﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And has cast out that within it and relinquished [it]
اور اس میں جو ہے اسے وہ اگل دے گی اور خالی ہو جائے گی ۔
وَاَذِنَتۡ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتۡؕ ﴿5﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And has responded to its Lord and was obligated [to do so] -
اور اپنے رب کے حکم پر کان لگائے گی اور اسی کے لائق وہ ہے ۔
يٰۤاَيُّهَا الۡاِنۡسَانُ اِنَّكَ كَادِحٌ اِلٰى رَبِّكَ كَدۡحًا فَمُلٰقِيۡهِۚ ﴿6﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
O mankind, indeed you are laboring toward your Lord with [great] exertion and will meet it.
اے انسان! تو ( اس وقت ) اپنے رب سے ملنے تک یہ کوشش اور تمام کام اور محنتیں کر کے اس سے ملاقات کرنے والا ہے ۔
فَاَمَّا مَنۡ اُوۡتِىَ كِتٰبَهٗ بِيَمِيۡنِهٖۙ ﴿7﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Then as for he who is given his record in his right hand,
تو ( اسوقت ) جس شخص کے داہنے ہاتھ میں اعمال نامہ دیا جائے گا ۔
فَسَوۡفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَّسِيۡرًا ۙ ﴿8﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
He will be judged with an easy account
اس کا حساب تو بڑی آسانی سے لیا جائے گا ۔
وَّيَنۡقَلِبُ اِلٰٓى اَهۡلِهٖ مَسۡرُوۡرًا ؕ ﴿9﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And return to his people in happiness.
اور وہ اپنے اہل کی طرف ہنسی خوشی لوٹ آئے گا ۔
وَاَمَّا مَنۡ اُوۡتِىَ كِتٰبَهٗ وَرَآءَ ظَهۡرِهٖۙ ﴿10﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
But as for he who is given his record behind his back,
ہاں جس شخص کا اعمال نامہ اس کی پیٹھ پیچھے سے دیا جائے گا ۔
فَسَوۡفَ يَدۡعُوۡا ثُبُوۡرًا ۙ ﴿11﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
He will cry out for destruction
تو وہ موت کو بلانے لگے گا ۔
وَّيَصۡلٰى سَعِيۡرًا ؕ ﴿12﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And [enter to] burn in a Blaze.
اور بھڑکتی ہوئی جہنم میں داخل ہوگا ۔
اِنَّهٗ كَانَ فِىۡۤ اَهۡلِهٖ مَسۡرُوۡرًا ؕ ﴿13﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, he had [once] been among his people in happiness;
یہ شخص اپنے متعلقین میں ( دنیا میں ) خوش تھا ۔
اِنَّهٗ ظَنَّ اَنۡ لَّنۡ يَّحُوۡرَ ۛۚ ﴿14﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, he had thought he would never return [to Allah ].
اس کا خیال تھا کہ اللہ کی طرف لوٹ کر ہی نہ جائے گا ۔
بَلٰٓى ۛۚ اِنَّ رَبَّهٗ كَانَ بِهٖ بَصِيۡرًا ؕ ﴿15﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
But yes! Indeed, his Lord was ever of him, Seeing.
کیوں نہیں حالانکہ اس کا رب اسے بخوبی دیکھ رہا تھا ۔
فَلَاۤ اُقۡسِمُ بِالشَّفَقِۙ ﴿16﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
So I swear by the twilight glow
مجھے شفق کی قسم !اور رات کی!
وَالَّيۡلِ وَمَا وَسَقَۙ ﴿17﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And [by] the night and what it envelops
اور اس کی جمع کردہ چیزوں کی قسم ۔
وَالۡقَمَرِ اِذَا اتَّسَقَۙ ﴿18﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And [by] the moon when it becomes full
اور چاند کی جب کہ وہ کامل ہو جاتا ہے ۔
لَتَرۡكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَنۡ طَبَقٍؕ ﴿19﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
[That] you will surely experience state after state.
یقیناً تم ایک حالت سے دوسری حالت پر پہنچوگے ۔
فَمَا لَهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَۙ ﴿20﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
So what is [the matter] with them [that] they do not believe,
انہیں کیا ہوگیا ہے کہ ایمان نہیں لاتے ۔
وَاِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيۡهِمُ الۡقُرۡاٰنُ لَا يَسۡجُدُوۡنَ ؕ ۩ ﴿21﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And when the Qur'an is recited to them, they do not prostrate [to Allah ]?
اور جب ان کے پاس قرآن پڑھا جاتا ہے تو سجدہ نہیں کرتے ۔
بَلِ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا يُكَذِّبُوۡنَ ۖ ﴿22﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
But those who have disbelieved deny,
بلکہ جنہوں نے کفر کیا وہ جھٹلا رہے ہیں ۔
وَاللّٰهُ اَعۡلَمُ بِمَا يُوۡعُوۡنَ ۖ ﴿23﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And Allah is most knowing of what they keep within themselves.
اور اللہ تعالٰی خوب جانتا ہے جو کچھ یہ دلوں میں رکھتے ہیں ۔
فَبَشِّرۡهُمۡ بِعَذَابٍ اَلِيۡمٍۙ ﴿24﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
So give them tidings of a painful punishment,
انہیں المناک عذابوں کی خوشخبری سنا دو ۔
اِلَّا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَهُمۡ اَجۡرٌ غَيۡرُ مَمۡنُوۡنٍ ﴿25﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds. For them is a reward uninterrupted.
ہاں ایمان والوں اور نیک اعمال والوں کو بے شمار اور نہ ختم ہونے والا اجر ہے ۔
