بِسۡمِ اللهِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِيۡمِ
Eng & Urdu Translations
In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
شروع کرتا ہوں اللہ تعا لٰی کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے ۔
وَالضُّحٰىۙ ﴿1﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
By the morning brightness
قسم ہے چاشت کے وقت کی ۔
وَالَّيۡلِ اِذَا سَجٰىۙ ﴿2﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And [by] the night when it covers with darkness,
قسم ہے رات کی جب چھا جائے ۔
مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلٰىؕ ﴿3﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you].
نہ تو تیرے رب نے تجھے چھوڑا ہے اور نہ وہ بیزار ہوگیا ہے ۔
وَلَـلۡاٰخِرَةُ خَيۡرٌ لَّكَ مِنَ الۡاُوۡلٰىؕ ﴿4﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life].
یقیناً تیرے لئے انجام آغاز سے بہتر ہوگا ۔
وَلَسَوۡفَ يُعۡطِيۡكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرۡضٰىؕ ﴿5﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied.
تجھے تیرا رب بہت جلد ( انعام ) دے گا اور تو راضی ( و خوش ) ہو جائے گا ۔
اَلَمۡ يَجِدۡكَ يَتِيۡمًا فَاٰوٰى ﴿6﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge?
کیا اس نے تجھےیتیم پا کر جگہ نہیں دی؟
وَوَجَدَكَ ضَآ لًّا فَهَدٰى ﴿7﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And He found you lost and guided [you],
اور تجھے راہ بھولا پا کر ہدایت نہیں دی ۔
وَوَجَدَكَ عَآٮِٕلًا فَاَغۡنٰىؕ ﴿8﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient.
اور تجھے نادار پا کر تونگر نہیں بنا دیا؟
فَاَمَّا الۡيَتِيۡمَ فَلَا تَقۡهَرۡؕ ﴿9﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him].
پس یتیم پر تو بھی سختی نہ کیا کر ۔
وَاَمَّا السَّآٮِٕلَ فَلَا تَنۡهَرۡؕ ﴿10﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him].
اور نہ سوال کرنے والے کو ڈانٹ ڈپٹ ۔
وَاَمَّا بِنِعۡمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثۡ ﴿11﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it].
اور اپنے رب کی نعمتوں کو بیان کرتا رہ ۔
