بِسۡمِ اللهِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِيۡمِ
Eng & Urdu Translations
In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
شروع کرتا ہوں اللہ تعا لٰی کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے ۔
اِنَّاۤ اَنۡزَلۡنٰهُ فِىۡ لَيۡلَةِ الۡقَدۡرِ ۖ ۚ ﴿1﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, We sent the Qur'an down during the Night of Decree.
یقیناً ہم نے اسے شب قدر میں نازل فرمایا ۔
وَمَاۤ اَدۡرٰٮكَ مَا لَيۡلَةُ الۡقَدۡرِؕ ﴿2﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree?
تو کیا سمجھا کہ شب قدر کیا ہے؟
لَيۡلَةُ الۡقَدۡرِ ۙ خَيۡرٌ مِّنۡ اَلۡفِ شَهۡرٍؕ ﴿3﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.
شب قدر ایک ہزار مہینوں سے بہتر ہے ۔
تَنَزَّلُ الۡمَلٰٓٮِٕكَةُ وَالرُّوۡحُ فِيۡهَا بِاِذۡنِ رَبِّهِمۡۚ مِّنۡ كُلِّ اَمۡرٍ ۛۙ ﴿4﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
The angels and the Spirit descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter.
اس ( میں ہر کام ) کے سر انجام دینے کو اپنے رب کے حکم سے فرشتے اور روح ( جبرائیل ) اترتے ہیں ۔
سَلٰمٌ ۛهِىَ حَتّٰى مَطۡلَعِ الۡفَجۡرِ ﴿5﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Peace it is until the emergence of dawn.
یہ رات سراسرسلامتی کی ہوتی ہے اور فجر کے طلوع ہونے تک ( رہتی ہے ) ۔
