In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
شروع کرتا ہوں اللہ تعا لٰی کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے ۔

وَالشَّمۡسِ وَضُحٰٮهَا ۙ ﴿1﴾

By the sun and its brightness
قسم ہے سورج کی اور اس کی دھوپ کی ۔

وَالۡقَمَرِ اِذَا تَلٰٮهَا ۙ ﴿2﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And [by] the moon when it follows it
قسم ہے چاند کی جب اس کے پیچھے آئے ۔

وَالنَّهَارِ اِذَا جَلّٰٮهَا ۙ ﴿3﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And [by] the day when it displays it
قسم ہے دن کی جب سورج کو نمایاں کرے ۔

وَالَّيۡلِ اِذَا يَغۡشٰٮهَا ۙ ﴿4﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And [by] the night when it covers it
قسم ہے رات کی جب اسے ڈھانپ لے ۔

وَالسَّمَآءِ وَمَا بَنٰٮهَا ۙ ﴿5﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And [by] the sky and He who constructed it
قسم ہے آسمان کی اور اس کے بنانے کی ۔

وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا طَحٰٮهَا ۙ ﴿6﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And [by] the earth and He who spread it
قسم ہے زمین کی اور اسے ہموار کرنے کی ۔

وَنَفۡسٍ وَّمَا سَوّٰٮهَا ۙ ﴿7﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And [by] the soul and He who proportioned it
قسم ہے نفس کی اور اسے درست بنانے کی

فَاَلۡهَمَهَا فُجُوۡرَهَا وَتَقۡوٰٮهَا ۙ ﴿8﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And inspired it [with discernment of] its wickedness and its righteousness,
پھر سمجھ دی اسکو بدکاری کی اور بچ کر چلنے کی ۔

قَدۡ اَفۡلَحَ مَنۡ زَكّٰٮهَا ۙ ﴿9﴾

He has succeeded who purifies it,
جس نے اسے پاک کیا وہ کامیاب ہوا ۔

وَقَدۡ خَابَ مَنۡ دَسّٰٮهَا ؕ ﴿10﴾

And he has failed who instills it [with corruption].
اور جس نے اسے خاک میں ملا دیا وہ ناکام ہوا ۔

كَذَّبَتۡ ثَمُوۡدُ بِطَغۡوٰٮهَآ ۙ ﴿11﴾

Thamud denied [their prophet] by reason of their transgression,
۔ ( قوم ) ثمود نے اپنی سرکشی کی باعث جھٹلایا ۔

اِذِ انۡۢبَعَثَ اَشۡقٰٮهَا ۙ ﴿12﴾

When the most wretched of them was sent forth.
جب ان میں کا بڑا بد بخت اٹھ کھڑا ہوا ۔

فَقَالَ لَهُمۡ رَسُوۡلُ اللّٰهِ نَاقَةَ اللّٰهِ وَسُقۡيٰهَا ؕ ﴿13﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And the messenger of Allah [Salih] said to them, "[Do not harm] the she-camel of Allah or [prevent her from] her drink."
انہیں اللہ کے ر سول نے فرما دیا تھا کہ اللہ تعالٰی کی اونٹنی اور اس کے پینے کی باری کی ( حفاظت کرو )

فَكَذَّبُوۡهُ فَعَقَرُوۡهَا ۙفَدَمۡدَمَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ بِذَنۡۢبِهِمۡ فَسَوّٰٮهَا ۙ ﴿14﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
But they denied him and hamstrung her. So their Lord brought down upon them destruction for their sin and made it equal [upon all of them].
ان لوگوں نے اپنے پیغمبر کو جھوٹا سمجھ کر اس اونٹنی کی کوچیں کاٹ دیں ، پس ان کے رب نے ان کے گناہوں کے باعث ان پر ہلاکت ڈالی اورپھر ہلاکت کو عام کر دیا اور اس بستی کو برابر کر دیا ۔

وَلَا يَخَافُ عُقۡبٰهَا ﴿15﴾

And He does not fear the consequence thereof.
وہ نہیں ڈرتا اس کے تباہ کن انجام سے ۔
