بِسۡمِ اللهِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِيۡمِ

In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
شروع کرتا ہوں اللہ تعا لٰی کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے ۔
وَالسَّمَآءِ وَالطَّارِقِۙ ﴿1﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
By the sky and the night comer -
قسم ہے آسمان کی اور اندھیرے میں روشن ہونے والے کی ۔
وَمَاۤ اَدۡرٰٮكَ مَا الطَّارِقُۙ ﴿2﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And what can make you know what is the night comer?
تجھے معلوم بھی ہے کہ وہ رات کو نمودار ہونے والی چیز کیا ہے؟
النَّجۡمُ الثَّاقِبُۙ ﴿3﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
It is the piercing star -
وہ روشن ستارہ ہے ۔
اِنۡ كُلُّ نَفۡسٍ لَّمَّا عَلَيۡهَا حَافِظٌؕ ﴿4﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
There is no soul but that it has over it a protector.
کوئی ایسا نہیں جس پر نگہبا ن فرشتہ نہ ہو ۔
فَلۡيَنۡظُرِ الۡاِنۡسَانُ مِمَّ خُلِقَؕ ﴿5﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
So let man observe from what he was created.
انسان کو دیکھنا چاہیے کہ وہ کس چیز سے پیدا کیا گیا ہے ۔
خُلِقَ مِنۡ مَّآءٍ دَافِقٍۙ ﴿6﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
He was created from a fluid, ejected,
وہ ایک اچھلتے پانی سے پیدا کیا گیا ہے ۔
يَّخۡرُجُ مِنۡۢ بَيۡنِ الصُّلۡبِ وَالتَّرَآٮِٕبِؕ ﴿7﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs.
جو پیٹھ اور سینے کے درمیان سے نکلتا ہے ۔
اِنَّهٗ عَلٰى رَجۡعِهٖ لَقَادِرٌؕ ﴿8﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, Allah , to return him [to life], is Able.
بیشک وہ اسے پھیر لانے پر یقیناً قدرت رکھنے والا ہے
يَوۡمَ تُبۡلَى السَّرَآٮِٕرُۙ ﴿9﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
The Day when secrets will be put on trial,
جس دن پوشیدہ بھیدوں کی جانچ پڑتال ہوگی ۔
فَمَا لَهٗ مِنۡ قُوَّةٍ وَّلَا نَاصِرٍؕ ﴿10﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Then man will have no power or any helper.
تو نہ ہوگا اس کے پاس کچھ زور نہ مددگار ۔
وَالسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ الرَّجۡعِۙ ﴿11﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
By the sky which returns [rain]
بارش والے آسمان کی قسم!
وَالۡاَرۡضِ ذَاتِ الصَّدۡعِۙ ﴿12﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And [by] the earth which cracks open,
اور پھٹنے والی زمین کی قسم!
اِنَّهٗ لَقَوۡلٌ فَصۡلٌۙ ﴿13﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, the Qur'an is a decisive statement,
بیشک یہ ( قرآن ) البتہ دو ٹوک فیصلہ کرنے والا کلام ہے ۔
وَّمَا هُوَ بِالۡهَزۡلِؕ ﴿14﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And it is not amusement.
یہ ہنسی کی ( اور بے فائدہ ) بات نہیں ۔
اِنَّهُمۡ يَكِيۡدُوۡنَ كَيۡدًا ۙ ﴿15﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, they are planning a plan,
البتہ کافر داؤ گھات میں ہیں ۔
وَّاَكِيۡدُ كَيۡدًا ۚۖ ﴿16﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
But I am planning a plan.
اور میں بھی ایک چال چل رہا ہوں ۔
فَمَهِّلِ الۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ اَمۡهِلۡهُمۡ رُوَيۡدًا ﴿17﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile.
تو کافروں کو مہلت دے انہیں تھوڑے دنوں چھوڑ دے ۔
