بِسۡمِ اللهِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِيۡمِ
Eng & Urdu Translations
In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
شروع کرتا ہوں اللہ تعا لٰی کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے ۔
اِذَا الشَّمۡسُ كُوِّرَتۡۙ ﴿1﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
When the sun is wrapped up [in darkness]
جب سورج لپیٹ لیا جائے گا ۔
وَاِذَا النُّجُوۡمُ انْكَدَرَتۡۙ ﴿2﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And when the stars fall, dispersing,
اور جب ستارے بے نور ہو جائیں گے ۔
وَاِذَا الۡجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتۡۙ ﴿3﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And when the mountains are removed
اور جب پہاڑ چلائے جائیں گے ۔
وَاِذَا الۡعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتۡۙ ﴿4﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And when full-term she-camels are neglected
اور جب دس ماہ کی حاملہ اونٹنیاں چھوڑ دی جائیں ۔
وَاِذَا الۡوُحُوۡشُ حُشِرَتۡۙ ﴿5﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And when the wild beasts are gathered
اور جب وحشی جانور اکھٹے کئے جائیں گے ۔
وَاِذَا الۡبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتۡۙ ﴿6﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And when the seas are filled with flame
اور جب سمندر بھڑکائے جائیں گے ۔
وَاِذَا النُّفُوۡسُ زُوِّجَتۡۙ ﴿7﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And when the souls are paired
اور جب جانیں ( جسموں سے ) ملا دی جائیں گی ۔
وَاِذَا الۡمَوۡءٗدَةُ سُٮِٕلَتۡۙ ﴿8﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked
اورجب زندہ گاڑھی ہوئی لڑکی سے سوال کیا جائے گا ۔
بِاَىِّ ذَنۡۢبٍ قُتِلَتۡۚ ﴿9﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
For what sin she was killed
کہ کس گناہ کی وجہ سے وہ قتل کی گئی ۔
وَاِذَا الصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتۡۙ ﴿10﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And when the pages are made public
اورجب نامہ اعمال کھول دئیے جائیں گے ۔
وَاِذَا السَّمَآءُ كُشِطَتۡۙ ﴿11﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And when the sky is stripped away
اور جب آسمان کی کھال اتار لی جائے گی ۔
وَاِذَا الۡجَحِيۡمُ سُعِّرَتۡۙ ﴿12﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And when Hellfire is set ablaze
اور جب جہنم بھڑکائی جائے گی ۔
وَاِذَا الۡجَـنَّةُ اُزۡلِفَتۡۙ ﴿13﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And when Paradise is brought near,
اور جب جنت نزدیک کر دی جائے گی ۔
عَلِمَتۡ نَفۡسٌ مَّاۤ اَحۡضَرَتۡؕ ﴿14﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it].
تو اس دن ہر شخص جان لے گا جو کچھ لے کر آیا ہوگا ۔
فَلَاۤ اُقۡسِمُ بِالۡخُنَّسِۙ ﴿15﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
So I swear by the retreating stars -
میں قسم کھاتا ہوں پیچھے ہٹنے والے ۔
الۡجَوَارِ الۡكُنَّسِۙ ﴿16﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Those that run [their courses] and disappear -
پھر چلنے پھرنے والے چھپنے والے ستاروں کی ۔
وَالَّيۡلِ اِذَا عَسۡعَسَۙ ﴿17﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And by the night as it closes in
اور رات کی جب جانے لگے ۔
وَالصُّبۡحِ اِذَا تَنَفَّسَۙ ﴿18﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And by the dawn when it breathes
اور صبح کی جب چمکنے لگے ۔
اِنَّهٗ لَقَوۡلُ رَسُوۡلٍ كَرِيۡمٍۙ ﴿19﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
[That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger
یقیناً یہ ایک بزرگ رسول کا کہا ہوا ہے ۔
ذِىۡ قُوَّةٍ عِنۡدَ ذِى الۡعَرۡشِ مَكِيۡنٍۙ ﴿20﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
[Who is] possessed of power and with the Owner of the Throne, secure [in position],
جو قوت والا ہے عرش والے ( اللہ ) کے نزدیک بلند مرتبہ ہے ۔
مُّطَاعٍ ثَمَّ اَمِيۡنٍؕ ﴿21﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Obeyed there [in the heavens] and trustworthy.
جس کی ( آسمانوں میں ) اطاعت کی جاتی ہے امین ہے ۔
وَ مَا صَاحِبُكُمۡ بِمَجۡنُوۡنٍۚ ﴿22﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And your companion is not [at all] mad.
اور تمہارا ساتھی دیوانہ نہیں ہے ۔
وَلَقَدۡ رَاٰهُ بِالۡاُفُقِ الۡمُبِيۡنِۚ ﴿23﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And he has already seen Gabriel in the clear horizon.
اس نے اس ( فرشتے ) کو آسمان کے کھلے کنارے پر دیکھا بھی ہے ۔
وَمَا هُوَ عَلَى الۡغَيۡبِ بِضَنِيۡنٍۚ ﴿24﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And Muhammad is not a withholder of [knowledge of] the unseen.
اور یہ غیب کی باتوں کو بتلانے میں بخیل بھی نہیں ۔
وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوۡلِ شَيۡطٰنٍ رَّجِيۡمٍۙ ﴿25﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And the Qur'an is not the word of a devil, expelled [from the heavens].
اور یہ قرآن شیطان مردود کا کلام نہیں ۔
فَاَيۡنَ تَذۡهَبُوۡنَؕ ﴿26﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
So where are you going?
پھر تم کہاں جا رہے ہو ۔
اِنۡ هُوَ اِلَّا ذِكۡرٌ لِّلۡعٰلَمِيۡنَۙ ﴿27﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
It is not except a reminder to the worlds
یہ توتمام جہان والوں کے لئے نصیحت نامہ ہے ۔
لِمَنۡ شَآءَ مِنۡكُمۡ اَنۡ يَّسۡتَقِيۡمَؕ ﴿28﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
For whoever wills among you to take a right course.
۔ ( بالخصوص ) اس کے لئے جو تم میں سے سیدھی راہ پر چلنا چاہے ۔
وَمَا تَشَآءُوۡنَ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ يَّشَآءَ اللّٰهُ رَبُّ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَ ﴿29﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And you do not will except that Allah wills - Lord of the worlds.
اور تم بغیر پروردگار عالم کے چاہے کچھ نہیں چاہ سکتے ۔
