بِسۡمِ اللهِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِيۡمِ
Eng & Urdu Translations
In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
شروع کرتا ہوں اللہ تعا لٰی کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے ۔
وَالنّٰزِعٰتِ غَرۡقًا ۙ ﴿1﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
By those [angels] who extract with violence
ڈوب کر سختی سے کھنچنے والوں کی قسم!
وَّالنّٰشِطٰتِ نَشۡطًا ۙ ﴿2﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And [by] those who remove with ease
بند کھول کر چھڑا دینے والوں کی قسم!
وَّالسّٰبِحٰتِ سَبۡحًا ۙ ﴿3﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And [by] those who glide [as if] swimming
اور تیرنے پھرنے والوں کی قسم!
فَالسّٰبِقٰتِ سَبۡقًا ۙ ﴿4﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And those who race each other in a race
پھر دوڑ کر آگے بڑھنے والوں کی قسم!
فَالۡمُدَبِّرٰتِ اَمۡرًا ۘ ﴿5﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And those who arrange [each] matter,
پھر کام کی تدبیر کرنے والوں کی قسم!
يَوۡمَ تَرۡجُفُ الرَّاجِفَةُ ۙ ﴿6﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
On the Day the blast [of the Horn] will convulse [creation],
جس دن کاپنے والی کانپے گی ۔
تَتۡبَعُهَا الرَّادِفَةُ ؕ ﴿7﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
There will follow it the subsequent [one].
اس کے بعد ایک پیچھے آنے والی ( پیچھے پیچھے ) آئے گی ۔
قُلُوۡبٌ يَّوۡمَٮِٕذٍ وَّاجِفَةٌ ۙ ﴿8﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Hearts, that Day, will tremble,
۔ ( بہت سے ) دل اس دن دھڑ کتے ہونگے ۔
اَبۡصَارُهَا خَاشِعَةٌ ۘ ﴿9﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Their eyes humbled.
جن کی نگاہیں نیچی ہونگی ۔
يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ ءَاِنَّا لَمَرۡدُوۡدُوۡنَ فِى الۡحَـافِرَةِ ؕ ﴿10﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
They are [presently] saying, "Will we indeed be returned to [our] former state [of life]?
کہتے ہیں کہ کیا ہم پہلی کی سی حالت کی طرف پھر لوٹائے جائیں گے؟
ءَاِذَا كُنَّا عِظَامًا نَّخِرَةً ؕ ﴿11﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Even if we should be decayed bones?
کیا اس وقت جب کہ ہم بوسیدہ ہڈیاں ہو جائیں گے؟
قَالُوۡا تِلۡكَ اِذًا كَرَّةٌ خَاسِرَةٌ ۘ ﴿12﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
They say, "That, then, would be a losing return."
کہتے ہیں کہ پھر تو یہ لوٹنا نقصان دہ ہے ۔
فَاِنَّمَا هِىَ زَجۡرَةٌ وَّاحِدَةٌ ۙ ﴿13﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, it will be but one shout,
۔ ( معلوم ہونا چاہیئے ) وہ تو صرف ایک ( خوفناک ) ڈانٹ ہے ۔
فَاِذَا هُمۡ بِالسَّاهِرَةِ ؕ ﴿14﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And suddenly they will be [alert] upon the earth's surface.
کہ ( جس کے ظاہر ہوتے ہی ) وہ ایک دم میدان میں جمع ہو جائیں گے ۔
هَلۡ اَتٰٮكَ حَدِيۡثُ مُوۡسٰىۘ ﴿15﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Has there reached you the story of Moses? -
کیا موسیٰ ( علیہ السلام ) کی خبر تمہیں پہنچی ہے؟
اِذۡ نَادٰٮهُ رَبُّهٗ بِالۡوَادِ الۡمُقَدَّسِ طُوًىۚ ﴿16﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
When his Lord called to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa,
جب کہ انہیں ان کے رب نے پاک میدان طویٰ میں پکارا ۔
اِذۡهَبۡ اِلٰى فِرۡعَوۡنَ اِنَّهٗ طَغٰى ۖ ﴿17﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
"Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed.
۔ ( کہ ) تم فرعون کے پاس جاؤ اس نے سرکشی اختیار کر لی ہے ۔
فَقُلۡ هَلۡ لَّكَ اِلٰٓى اَنۡ تَزَكّٰى ۙ ﴿18﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And say to him, 'Would you [be willing to] purify yourself
اس سے کہو کہ کیا تو اپنی درستگی اور اصلاح چاہتا ہے ۔
وَاَهۡدِيَكَ اِلٰى رَبِّكَ فَتَخۡشٰىۚ ﴿19﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And let me guide you to your Lord so you would fear [Him]?'"
اور یہ کہ میں تجھے تیرے رب کی راہ دکھاؤں تاکہ تو ( اس سے ) ڈرنے لگے ۔
فَاَرٰٮهُ الۡاٰيَةَ الۡكُبۡرٰى ۖ ﴿20﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And he showed him the greatest sign,
پس اسے بڑی نشانی دکھائی ۔
فَكَذَّبَ وَعَصٰى ۖ ﴿21﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
But Pharaoh denied and disobeyed.
تو اس نے جھٹلایا اور نافرمانی کی ۔
ثُمَّ اَدۡبَرَ يَسۡعٰىۖ ﴿22﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Then he turned his back, striving.
پھر پلٹا دوڑ دھوپ کرتے ہوئے ۔
فَحَشَرَ فَنَادٰىۖ ﴿23﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And he gathered [his people] and called out
پھر سب کو جمع کر کے پکارا ۔
فَقَالَ اَنَا رَبُّكُمُ الۡاَعۡلٰى ۖ ﴿24﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And said, "I am your most exalted lord."
تم سب کا رب میں ہی ہوں ۔
فَاَخَذَهُ اللّٰهُ نَڪَالَ الۡاٰخِرَةِ وَالۡاُوۡلٰى ؕ ﴿25﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
So Allah seized him in exemplary punishment for the last and the first [transgression].
تو ( سب سے بلند و بالا ) اللہ نے بھی اسے آخرت کے اور دنیا کے عذاب میں گرفتار کر لیا ۔
اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰلِكَ لَعِبۡرَةً لِّمَنۡ يَّخۡشٰىؕ ﴿26﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed in that is a warning for whoever would fear [ Allah ].
بیشک اس میں اس شخص کے لئے عبرت ہے جو ڈرے ۔
ءَاَنۡتُمۡ اَشَدُّ خَلۡقًا اَمِ السَّمَآءُ ؕ بَنٰٮهَا ﴿27﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Are you a more difficult creation or is the heaven? Allah constructed it.
کیا تمہارا پیدا کرنا زیادہ دشوار ہے یا آسمان کا؟ اللہ تعا لٰی نے اسے بنایا ۔
رَفَعَ سَمۡكَهَا فَسَوَّٮهَا ۙ ﴿28﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
He raised its ceiling and proportioned it.
اس کی بلندی اونچی کی پھر اسے ٹھیک ٹھاک کر دیا ۔
وَ اَغۡطَشَ لَيۡلَهَا وَاَخۡرَجَ ضُحٰٮهَا ﴿29﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness.
اسکی رات کو تاریک بنایا اور اسکے دن کو نکالا ۔
وَالۡاَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ ذٰلِكَ دَحٰٮهَا ؕ ﴿30﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And after that He spread the earth.
اوراس کے بعد زمین کو ( ہموار ) بچھا دیا ۔
اَخۡرَجَ مِنۡهَا مَآءَهَا وَمَرۡعٰٮهَا ﴿31﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
He extracted from it its water and its pasture,
اس میں سے پانی اور چارہ نکالا ۔
وَالۡجِبَالَ اَرۡسٰٮهَا ۙ ﴿32﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And the mountains He set firmly
اور پہاڑوں کو ( مضبوط ) گاڑ دیا ۔
مَتَاعًا لَّـكُمۡ وَلِاَنۡعَامِكُمۡؕ ﴿33﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
As provision for you and your grazing livestock.
یہ سب تمہارے اور تمہارے جانوروں کے فائدے کے لئے ( ہیں )
فَاِذَا جَآءَتِ الطَّآمَّةُ الۡكُبۡرٰى ۖ ﴿34﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity -
پس جب وہ بڑی آفت ( قیامت ) آ جائے گی ۔
يَوۡمَ يَتَذَكَّرُ الۡاِنۡسَانُ مَا سَعٰىۙ ﴿35﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
The Day when man will remember that for which he strove,
جس دن کہ انسان اپنے کیے ہوئے کاموں کو یاد کرے گا ۔
وَبُرِّزَتِ الۡجَحِيۡمُ لِمَنۡ يَّرٰى ﴿36﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And Hellfire will be exposed for [all] those who see -
اور ( ہر ) دیکھنے والے کے سامنے جہنم ظاہر کی جائے گی ۔
فَاَمَّا مَنۡ طَغٰىۙ ﴿37﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
So as for he who transgressed
تو جس ( شخص ) نے سرکشی کی ( ہوگی ) ۔
وَاٰثَرَ الۡحَيٰوةَ الدُّنۡيَا ۙ ﴿38﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And preferred the life of the world,
اور دنیوی زندگی کو ترجیح دی ( ہوگی ) ۔
فَاِنَّ الۡجَحِيۡمَ هِىَ الۡمَاۡوٰىؕ ﴿39﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge.
۔ ( اسکا ) ٹھکانا جہنم ہی ہے ۔
وَاَمَّا مَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهٖ وَ نَهَى النَّفۡسَ عَنِ الۡهَوٰىۙ ﴿40﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination,
ہاں جو شخص اپنے رب کے سامنے کھڑے ہونے سے ڈرتا رہا ہوگا اور اپنے نفس کو خواہش سے روکا ہوگا ۔
فَاِنَّ الۡجَـنَّةَ هِىَ الۡمَاۡوٰىؕ ﴿41﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge.
تو اس کا ٹھکانا جنت ہی ہے ۔
يَسۡـــَٔلُوۡنَكَ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ اَيَّانَ مُرۡسٰٮهَا ؕ ﴿42﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival?
لوگ آپ سے قیامت کے واقع ہونے کا وقت دریافت کرتے ہیں ۔
فِيۡمَ اَنۡتَ مِنۡ ذِكۡرٰٮهَاؕ ﴿43﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
In what [position] are you that you should mention it?
آپ کو اس کے بیان کرنے سے کیا تعلق؟
اِلٰى رَبِّكَ مُنۡتَهٰٮهَاؕ ﴿44﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
To your Lord is its finality.
اس کے علم کی انتہا تو اللہ کی جانب ہے ۔
اِنَّمَاۤ اَنۡتَ مُنۡذِرُ مَنۡ يَّخۡشٰٮهَاؕ ﴿45﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
You are only a warner for those who fear it.
آپ تو صرف اس سے ڈرتے رہنے والوں کو آگاہ کرنے والے ہیں ۔
كَاَنَّهُمۡ يَوۡمَ يَرَوۡنَهَا لَمۡ يَلۡبَثُوۡۤا اِلَّا عَشِيَّةً اَوۡ ضُحٰٮهَا ﴿46﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof.
جس روز یہ اسے دیکھ لیں گے تو ایسا معلوم ہوگا کہ صرف دن کا آخری حصہ یا اول حصہ ہی ( دنیا میں ) رہے ہیں ۔
