وَمَاۤ اَدۡرٰٮكَ مَا الۡحَــآقَّةُ ؕ ﴿3﴾

And what can make you know what is the Inevitable Reality?
تجھے کیا معلوم کہ وہ ثابت شدہ کیا ہے؟

كَذَّبَتۡ ثَمُوۡدُ وَعَادٌۢ بِالۡقَارِعَةِ ﴿4﴾

Thamud and 'Aad denied the Striking Calamity.
اس کھڑکا دینے والی کو ثمود اور عاد نے جھٹلا دیا تھا ۔

فَاَمَّا ثَمُوۡدُ فَاُهۡلِكُوۡا بِالطَّاغِيَةِ ﴿5﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
So as for Thamud, they were destroyed by the overpowering [blast].
۔ ( جس کے نتیجے میں ) ثمود تو بیحد خوفناک ( اور اونچی ) آواز سے ہلاک کر دیئے گئے ۔

وَاَمَّا عَادٌ فَاُهۡلِكُوۡا بِرِيۡحٍ صَرۡصَرٍ عَاتِيَةٍۙ ﴿6﴾

And as for 'Aad, they were destroyed by a screaming, violent wind
اور عاد بیحد تیز و تند ہوا سے غارت کر دیئے گئے ۔

سَخَّرَهَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ سَبۡعَ لَيَالٍ وَّثَمٰنِيَةَ اَيَّامٍۙ حُسُوۡمًا ۙ فَتَرَى الۡقَوۡمَ فِيۡهَا صَرۡعٰىۙ كَاَنَّهُمۡ اَعۡجَازُ نَخۡلٍ خَاوِيَةٍ ۚ ﴿7﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Which Allah imposed upon them for seven nights and eight days in succession, so you would see the people therein fallen as if they were hollow trunks of palm trees.
جسے ان پر لگاتار سات رات اور آٹھ دن تک ( اللہ نے ) مسلط رکھا پس تم دیکھتے کہ یہ لوگ زمین پر اس طرح گر گئے جیسے کھجور کے کھوکھلے تنے ہوں ۔

فَهَلۡ تَرٰى لَهُمۡ مِّنۡۢ بَاقِيَةٍ ﴿8﴾

Then do you see of them any remains?
کیا ان میں سے کوئی بھی تجھے باقی نظر آرہا ہے؟

وَجَآءَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ وَمَنۡ قَبۡلَهٗ وَالۡمُؤۡتَفِكٰتُ بِالۡخَـاطِئَةِۚ ﴿9﴾

And there came Pharaoh and those before him and the overturned cities with sin.
فرعون اور اس سے پہلے کے لوگ اور جن کی بستیاں الٹ دی گئی انہوں نے بھی خطائیں کیں ۔

فَعَصَوۡا رَسُوۡلَ رَبِّهِمۡ فَاَخَذَهُمۡ اَخۡذَةً رَّابِيَةً ﴿10﴾

And they disobeyed the messenger of their Lord, so He seized them with a seizure exceeding [in severity].
اور اپنے رب کے رسول کی نافرمانی کی ( بالآخر ) اللہ نے انہیں ( بھی ) زبردست گرفت میں لےلیا ۔

اِنَّا لَمَّا طَغَا الۡمَآءُ حَمَلۡنٰكُمۡ فِى الۡجَارِيَةِ ۙ ﴿11﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, when the water overflowed, We carried your ancestors in the sailing ship
جب پانی میں طغیانی آگئی تو اس وقت ہم نے تمہیں کشتی میں چڑھا لیا ۔

لِنَجۡعَلَهَا لَـكُمۡ تَذۡكِرَةً وَّتَعِيَهَاۤ اُذُنٌ وَّاعِيَةٌ ﴿12﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
That We might make it for you a reminder and [that] a conscious ear would be conscious of it.
تاکہ اسے تمہارے لئے نصیحت اور یادگار بنا دیں اور ( تاکہ ) یاد رکھنے والے کان اسے یاد رکھیں ۔

فَاِذَا نُفِخَ فِى الصُّوۡرِ نَفۡخَةٌ وَّاحِدَةٌ ۙ ﴿13﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Then when the Horn is blown with one blast
پس جبکہ صور میں ایک پھونک پھونکی جائے گی ۔

وَحُمِلَتِ الۡاَرۡضُ وَ الۡجِبَالُ فَدُكَّتَا دَكَّةً وَّاحِدَةً ۙ ﴿14﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And the earth and the mountains are lifted and leveled with one blow -
اور زمین اور پہاڑ اٹھا لئے جائیں گے اور ایک ہی چوٹ میں ریزہ ریزہ کر دیئے جائیں گے ۔

فَيَوۡمَٮِٕذٍ وَّقَعَتِ الۡوَاقِعَةُ ۙ ﴿15﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Then on that Day, the Resurrection will occur,
اس دن ہو پڑنے والی ( قیامت ) ہو پڑے گی ۔

وَانْشَقَّتِ السَّمَآءُ فَهِىَ يَوۡمَٮِٕذٍ وَّاهِيَةٌ ۙ ﴿16﴾

And the heaven will split [open], for that Day it is infirm.
اور آسمان پھٹ جائے گا اوراس دن بالکل بودا ہو جائے گا ۔

وَّالۡمَلَكُ عَلٰٓى اَرۡجَآٮِٕهَا ؕ وَيَحۡمِلُ عَرۡشَ رَبِّكَ فَوۡقَهُمۡ يَوۡمَٮِٕذٍ ثَمٰنِيَةٌ ؕ ﴿17﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And the angels are at its edges. And there will bear the Throne of your Lord above them, that Day, eight [of them].
اس کے کناروں پر فرشتے ہونگے اور تیرے پروردگار کا عرش اس دن آٹھ ( فرشتے ) اپنے اوپر اٹھائے ہوئے ہونگے ۔

يَوۡمَٮِٕذٍ تُعۡرَضُوۡنَ لَا تَخۡفٰى مِنۡكُمۡ خَافِيَةٌ ﴿18﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
That Day, you will be exhibited [for judgement]; not hidden among you is anything concealed.
اس دن تم سب سامنے پیش کئے جاؤ گے تمہارا کوئی بھید پوشیدہ نہ رہے گا ۔

فَاَمَّا مَنۡ اُوۡتِىَ كِتٰبَهٗ بِيَمِيۡنِهٖۙ فَيَقُوۡلُ هَآؤُمُ اقۡرَءُوۡا كِتٰبِيَهۡۚ ﴿19﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
So as for he who is given his record in his right hand, he will say, "Here, read my record!
سو جسے اس کا نامۂ اعمال اس کے دائیں ہاتھ میں دیا جائے گا تو وہ کہنے لگے گا کہ لو میرا نامۂ اعمال پڑھو ۔

اِنِّىۡ ظَنَنۡتُ اَنِّىۡ مُلٰقٍ حِسَابِيَهۡۚ ﴿20﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, I was certain that I would be meeting my account."
مجھے تو کامل یقین تھا مجھے اپنا حساب ملنا ہے ۔

فَهُوَ فِىۡ عِيۡشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍۙ ﴿21﴾

So he will be in a pleasant life -
پس وہ ایک دل پسند زندگی میں ہوگا ۔

فِىۡ جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍۙ ﴿22﴾

In an elevated garden,
بلند و بالا جنت میں ۔

قُطُوۡفُهَا دَانِيَةٌ ﴿23﴾

Its [fruit] to be picked hanging near.
جس کے میوے جھکے پڑے ہوں گے ۔

كُلُوۡا وَاشۡرَبُوۡا هَنِيۡٓـــًٔا ۢ بِمَاۤ اَسۡلَفۡتُمۡ فِى الۡاَيَّامِ الۡخَـالِيَةِ ﴿24﴾

[They will be told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you put forth in the days past."
۔ ( ان سے کہا جائے گا ) کہ مزے سے کھاؤ ، پیو اپنے ان اعمال کے بدلے جو تم نے گزشتہ زمانے میں کئے ۔

وَاَمَّا مَنۡ اُوۡتِىَ كِتٰبَهٗ بِشِمَالِهٖ ۙ فَيَقُوۡلُ يٰلَيۡتَنِىۡ لَمۡ اُوۡتَ كِتٰبِيَهۡۚ ﴿25﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
But as for he who is given his record in his left hand, he will say, "Oh, I wish I had not been given my record
لیکن جسے اس ( کے اعمال ) کی کتاب اس کے بائیں ہاتھ میں دی جائے گی ، وہ تو کہے گا کہ کاش مجھے میری کتاب دی ہی نہ جاتی ۔

وَلَمۡ اَدۡرِ مَا حِسَابِيَهۡۚ ﴿26﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And had not known what is my account.
اور میں جانتا ہی نہ کہ حساب کیا ہے ۔

يٰلَيۡتَهَا كَانَتِ الۡقَاضِيَةَ ۚ ﴿27﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
I wish my death had been the decisive one.
کاش! کہ موت ( میرا ) کام ہی تمام کر دیتی ۔

مَاۤ اَغۡنٰى عَنِّىۡ مَالِيَهۡۚ ﴿28﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
My wealth has not availed me.
میرے مال نے بھی مجھے کچھ نفع نہ دیا ۔

هَلَكَ عَنِّىۡ سُلۡطٰنِيَهۡۚ ﴿29﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Gone from me is my authority."
میرا غلبہ بھی مجھ سے جاتا رہا ۔

خُذُوۡهُ فَغُلُّوۡهُ ۙ ﴿30﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
[ Allah will say], "Seize him and shackle him.
۔ ( حکم ہوگا ) اسے پکڑ لو پھر اسے طوق پہنا دو ۔

ثُمَّ الۡجَحِيۡمَ صَلُّوۡهُ ۙ ﴿31﴾

Then into Hellfire drive him.
پھر اسے دوزخ میں ڈال دو ۔

ثُمَّ فِىۡ سِلۡسِلَةٍ ذَرۡعُهَا سَبۡعُوۡنَ ذِرَاعًا فَاسۡلُكُوۡهُ ؕ ﴿32﴾

Then into a chain whose length is seventy cubits insert him."
پھر اسے ایسی زنجیر میں جس کی پیمائش ستر ہاتھ کی ہے جکڑ دو ۔

اِنَّهٗ كَانَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُ بِاللّٰهِ الۡعَظِيۡمِۙ ﴿33﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, he did not used to believe in Allah , the Most Great,
بیشک یہ اللہ عظمت والے پر ایمان نہ رکھتا تھا ۔

وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلٰى طَعَامِ الۡمِسۡكِيۡنِؕ ﴿34﴾

Nor did he encourage the feeding of the poor.
اور مسکین کے کھلانے پر رغبت نہ دلاتا تھا ۔

فَلَيۡسَ لَـهُ الۡيَوۡمَ هٰهُنَا حَمِيۡمٌۙ ﴿35﴾

So there is not for him here this Day any devoted friend
پس آج اس کا نہ کوئی دوست ہے ۔

وَّلَا طَعَامٌ اِلَّا مِنۡ غِسۡلِيۡنٍۙ ﴿36﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Nor any food except from the discharge of wounds;
اور نہ سوائے پیپ کے اس کی کوئی غذا ہے ۔

لَّا يَاۡكُلُهٗۤ اِلَّا الۡخٰطِئُوْنَ ﴿37﴾

None will eat it except the sinners.
جسے گنہگاروں کے سوا کوئی نہیں کھائے گا ۔

فَلَاۤ اُقۡسِمُ بِمَا تُبۡصِرُوۡنَۙ ﴿38﴾

So I swear by what you see
پس مجھے قسم ہے ان چیزوں کی جنہیں تم دیکھتے ہو ۔

وَمَا لَا تُبۡصِرُوۡنَۙ ﴿39﴾

And what you do not see
اور ان چیزوں کی جنہیں تم نہیں دیکھتے ۔

اِنَّهٗ لَقَوۡلُ رَسُوۡلٍ كَرِيۡمٍۚ ۙ ﴿40﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
[That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger.
کہ بیشک یہ ( قرآن ) بزرگ رسول کا قول ہے ۔

وَّمَا هُوَ بِقَوۡلِ شَاعِرٍؕ قَلِيۡلًا مَّا تُؤۡمِنُوۡنَۙ ﴿41﴾

And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe.
یہ کسی شاعر کا قول نہیں ( افسوس ) تمہیں بہت کم یقین ہے ۔

وَلَا بِقَوۡلِ كَاهِنٍؕ قَلِيۡلًا مَّا تَذَكَّرُوۡنَؕ ﴿42﴾

Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember.
اورنہ کسی کاہن کا قول ہے ( افسوس ) بہت کم نصیحت لے رہے ہو ۔

تَنۡزِيۡلٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَ ﴿43﴾

[It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.
۔ ( یہ تو ) رب العالمین کا اُتاراہوا ہے ۔

وَلَوۡ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيۡنَا بَعۡضَ الۡاَقَاوِيۡلِۙ ﴿44﴾

And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings,
اور اگر یہ ہم پر کوئی بات بنا لیتا ۔

لَاَخَذۡنَا مِنۡهُ بِالۡيَمِيۡنِۙ ﴿45﴾

We would have seized him by the right hand;
تو البتہ ہم اس کا داہنا ہاتھ پکڑ لیتے ۔

ثُمَّ لَقَطَعۡنَا مِنۡهُ الۡوَتِيۡنَ ۖ ﴿46﴾

Then We would have cut from him the aorta.
پھر اس کی شہ رگ کاٹ دیتے ۔

فَمَا مِنۡكُمۡ مِّنۡ اَحَدٍ عَنۡهُ حَاجِزِيۡنَ ﴿47﴾

And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him.
پھر تم سے کوئی بھی مجھے اس سے روکنے والا نہ ہوتا ۔

وَاِنَّهٗ لَتَذۡكِرَةٌ لِّلۡمُتَّقِيۡنَ ﴿48﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder for the righteous.
یقیناً یہ قرآن پرہیزگاروں کے لئے نصیحت ہے ۔

وَاِنَّا لَنَعۡلَمُ اَنَّ مِنۡكُمۡ مُّكَذِّبِيۡنَ ﴿49﴾

And indeed, We know that among you are deniers.
ہمیں پوری طرح معلوم ہے کہ تم میں سے بعض اس کے جھٹلانے والے ہیں ۔

وَاِنَّهٗ لَحَسۡرَةٌ عَلَى الۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ ﴿50﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers.
بیشک ( یہ جھٹلانا ) کافروں پر حسرت ہے ۔

وَاِنَّهٗ لَحَـقُّ الۡيَقِيۡنِ ﴿51﴾

And indeed, it is the truth of certainty.
اور بیشک ( و شبہ ) یہ یقینی حق ہے ۔

فَسَبِّحۡ بِاسۡمِ رَبِّكَ الۡعَظِيۡمِ ﴿52﴾

So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great.
