بِسۡمِ اللهِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِيۡمِ

In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
شروع کرتا ہوں اللہ تعا لٰی کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے ۔
حٰمٓ ۛۚ ﴿1﴾

وَالۡكِتٰبِ الۡمُبِيۡنِ ۛۙ ﴿2﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
By the clear Book,
قسم ہے اس وضاحت والی کتاب کی ۔
اِنَّاۤ اَنۡزَلۡنٰهُ فِىۡ لَيۡلَةٍ مُّبٰـرَكَةٍ اِنَّا كُنَّا مُنۡذِرِيۡنَ ﴿3﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, We sent it down during a blessed night. Indeed, We were to warn [mankind].
یقیناً ہم نے اسے بابرکت رات میں اتارا ہے بیشک ہم ڈرانے والے ہیں ۔
فِيۡهَا يُفۡرَقُ كُلُّ اَمۡرٍ حَكِيۡمٍۙ ﴿4﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
On that night is made distinct every precise matter -
اسی رات میں ہر ایک مضبوط کام کا فیصلہ کیا جاتا ہے ۔
اَمۡرًا مِّنۡ عِنۡدِنَاؕ اِنَّا كُنَّا مُرۡسِلِيۡنَۚ ﴿5﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
[Every] matter [proceeding] from Us. Indeed, We were to send [a messenger]
ہمارے پاس سے حکم ہو کر ، ہم ہی ہیں رسول بنا کر بھیجنے والے ۔
رَحۡمَةً مِّنۡ رَّبِّكَؕ اِنَّهٗ هُوَ السَّمِيۡعُ الۡعَلِيۡمُۙ ﴿6﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
As mercy from your Lord. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
آپ کے رب کی مہربانی سے ۔ وہ ہی ہے سننے والا جاننے والا ۔
رَبِّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَاۘ اِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ مُّوۡقِنِيۡنَ ﴿7﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them, if you would be certain.
جو رب ہے آسمانوں کا اور زمین کا اور جو کچھ ان کے درمیان ہے اگر تم یقین کرنے والے ہو ۔
لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ يُحۡىٖ وَيُمِيۡتُؕ رَبُّكُمۡ وَرَبُّ اٰبَآٮِٕكُمُ الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَ ﴿8﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
There is no deity except Him; He gives life and causes death. [He is] your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers.
کوئی معبود نہیں اس کے سوا وُہی جلاتا ہے اور مارتا ہے وہی تمہارا رب ہے اور تمہارے اگلے باپ دادوں کا ۔
بَلۡ هُمۡ فِىۡ شَكٍّ يَّلۡعَبُوۡنَ ﴿9﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
But they are in doubt, amusing themselves.
بلکہ وہ شک میں پڑے کھیل رہے ہیں ۔
فَارۡتَقِبۡ يَوۡمَ تَاۡتِى السَّمَآءُ بِدُخَانٍ مُّبِيۡنٍۙ ﴿10﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Then watch for the Day when the sky will bring a visible smoke.
آپ اس دن کے منتظر رہیں جب کہ آسمان ظاہر دھواں لائے گا ۔
يَغۡشَى النَّاسَؕ هٰذَا عَذَابٌ اَلِيۡمٌ ﴿11﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Covering the people; this is a painful torment.
جو لوگوں کو گھیر لے گا یہ دردناک عذاب ہے ۔
رَبَّنَا اكۡشِفۡ عَنَّا الۡعَذَابَ اِنَّا مُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ ﴿12﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
[They will say], "Our Lord, remove from us the torment; indeed, we are believers."
کہیں گے اے ہمارے رب! یہ آفت ہم سے دور کر ہم ایمان قبول کرتے ہیں ۔
اَنّٰى لَهُمُ الذِّكۡرٰى وَقَدۡ جَآءَهُمۡ رَسُوۡلٌ مُّبِيۡنٌۙ ﴿13﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
How will there be for them a reminder [at that time]? And there had come to them a clear Messenger.
ان کے لئے نصیحت کہاں ہے؟ کھول کھول کر بیان کرنے والے پیغمبر ان کے پاس آچکے ۔
ثُمَّ تَوَلَّوۡا عَنۡهُ وَقَالُوۡا مُعَلَّمٌ مَّجۡنُوۡنٌۘ ﴿14﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Then they turned away from him and said, "[He was] taught [and is] a madman."
پھر بھی انہوں نے ان سے منہ پھیرا اور کہہ دیا کہ سکھایا پڑھایا ہوا باؤلا ہے ۔
اِنَّا كَاشِفُوا الۡعَذَابِ قَلِيۡلًا اِنَّكُمۡ عَآٮِٕدُوۡنَۘ ﴿15﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, We will remove the torment for a little. Indeed, you [disbelievers] will return [to disbelief].
ہم عذاب کو تھوڑا دور کر دیں گے تو تم پھر اپنی اسی حالت پر آجاؤ گے ۔
يَوۡمَ نَبۡطِشُ الۡبَطۡشَةَ الۡكُبۡـرٰىۚ اِنَّا مُنۡتَقِمُوۡنَ ﴿16﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
The Day We will strike with the greatest assault, indeed, We will take retribution.
جس دن ہم بڑی سخت پکڑ پکڑیں گے ، بالیقین ہم بدلہ لینے والے ہیں ۔
وَلَقَدۡ فَتَنَّا قَبۡلَهُمۡ قَوۡمَ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَ جَآءَهُمۡ رَسُوۡلٌ كَرِيۡمٌۙ ﴿17﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And We had already tried before them the people of Pharaoh, and there came to them a noble messenger,
یقیناً ان سے پہلے ہم قوم فرعون کو ( بھی ) آزما چکے ہیں جن کے پاس ( اللہ کا ) با عزت رسول آیا ۔
اَنۡ اَدُّوۡۤا اِلَىَّ عِبَادَ اللّٰهِؕ اِنِّىۡ لَـكُمۡ رَسُوۡلٌ اَمِيۡنٌۙ ﴿18﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
[Saying], "Render to me the servants of Allah . Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger,"
کہ اللہ تعا لٰی کے بندوں کو میرے حوالے کر دو یقین مانو کہ میں تمہارے لئے امانت دار رسول ہوں ۔
وَّاَنۡ لَّا تَعۡلُوۡا عَلَى اللّٰهِۚ اِنِّىۡۤ اٰتِيۡكُمۡ بِسُلۡطٰنٍ مُّبِيۡنٍۚ ﴿19﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And [saying], "Be not haughty with Allah . Indeed, I have come to you with clear authority.
اور تم اللہ تعالٰی کے سامنے سرکشی نہ کرو ، میں تمہارے پاس کھلی دلیل لانے والا ہوں ۔
وَاِنِّىۡ عُذۡتُ بِرَبِّىۡ وَرَبِّكُمۡ اَنۡ تَرۡجُمُوۡنِ ۚ ﴿20﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And indeed, I have sought refuge in my Lord and your Lord, lest you stone me.
اور میں اپنے اور تمہارے رب کی پناہ میں آتا ہوں اس سے کہ تم مجھے سنگسار کر دو ۔
وَاِنۡ لَّمۡ تُؤۡمِنُوۡا لِىۡ فَاعۡتَزِلُوۡنِ ﴿21﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
But if you do not believe me, then leave me alone."
اور اگر تم مجھ پر ایمان نہیں لاتے تو مجھ سے الگ ہی رہو ۔
فَدَعَا رَبَّهٗۤ اَنَّ هٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ قَوۡمٌ مُّجۡرِمُوۡنَ ﴿22﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And [finally] he called to his Lord that these were a criminal people.
پھر انہوں نے اپنے رب سے دعا کی کہ یہ سب گنہگار لوگ ہیں ۔
فَاَسۡرِ بِعِبَادِىۡ لَيۡلًا اِنَّكُمۡ مُّتَّبَعُوۡنَۙ ﴿23﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
[ Allah said], "Then set out with My servants by night. Indeed, you are to be pursued.
۔ ( ہم نے کہہ دیا ) کہ راتوں رات تو میرے بندوں کو لے کر نکل یقیناً تمہارا پیچھا کیا جائے گا ۔
وَاتۡرُكِ الۡبَحۡرَ رَهۡوًاؕ اِنَّهُمۡ جُنۡدٌ مُّغۡرَقُوۡنَ ﴿24﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And leave the sea in stillness. Indeed, they are an army to be drowned."
تُو دریا کو ساکن چھوڑ کر چلا جا بلاشبہ یہ لشکر غرق کر دیا جائے گا ۔
كَمۡ تَرَكُوۡا مِنۡ جَنّٰتٍ وَّعُيُوۡنٍۙ ﴿25﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
How much they left behind of gardens and springs
وہ بہت سے باغات اور چشمے چھوڑ گئے ۔
وَّزُرُوۡعٍ وَّمَقَامٍ كَرِيۡمٍۙ ﴿26﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And crops and noble sites
اور کھتیاں اور راحت بخش ٹھکانے ۔
وَّنَعۡمَةٍ كَانُوۡا فِيۡهَا فٰكِهِيۡنَۙ ﴿27﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And comfort wherein they were amused.
اور وہ آرام کی چیزیں جن میں عیش کر رہے تھے ۔
كَذٰلِكَ وَاَوۡرَثۡنٰهَا قَوۡمًا اٰخَرِيۡنَ ﴿28﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Thus. And We caused to inherit it another people.
اسی طرح ہوگیا اور ہم نے ان سب کا وارث دوسری قوم کو بنا دیا ۔
فَمَا بَكَتۡ عَلَيۡهِمُ السَّمَآءُ وَالۡاَرۡضُ وَمَا كَانُوۡا مُنۡظَرِيۡنَ ﴿29﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And the heaven and earth wept not for them, nor were they reprieved.
سو ان پر نہ تو آسمان و زمین روئے اور نہ انہیں مہلت ملی ۔
وَلَقَدۡ نَجَّيۡنَا بَنِىۡۤ اِسۡرَآءِيۡلَ مِنَ الۡعَذَابِ الۡمُهِيۡنِۙ ﴿30﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And We certainly saved the Children of Israel from the humiliating torment -
اور بیشک ہم نے ( ہی ) بنی اسرائیل کو ( سخت ) رسوا کن سزا سے نجات دی ۔
مِنۡ فِرۡعَوۡنَؕ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ عَالِيًا مِّنَ الۡمُسۡرِفِيۡنَ ﴿31﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
From Pharaoh. Indeed, he was a haughty one among the transgressors.
۔ ( جو ) فرعون کی طرف سے ( ہو رہی ) تھی ۔ فی الواقع وہ سرکش اور حد سے گزر جانے والوں میں سےتھا ۔
وَلَقَدِ اخۡتَرۡنٰهُمۡ عَلٰى عِلۡمٍ عَلَى الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَۚ ﴿32﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And We certainly chose them by knowledge over [all] the worlds.
اورہم نے دانستہ طور پر بنی اسرائیل کو دنیا جہان والوں پر فوقیت دی ۔
وَاٰتَيۡنٰهُمۡ مِّنَ الۡاٰيٰتِ مَا فِيۡهِ بَلٰٓؤٌا مُّبِيۡنٌ ﴿33﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And We gave them of signs that in which there was a clear trial.
اور ہم نے انہیں ایسی نشانیاں دیں جن میں صریح آزمائش تھی ۔
اِنَّ هٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ لَيَقُوۡلُوۡنَۙ ﴿34﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, these [disbelievers] are saying,
یہ لوگ تو یہی کہتے ہیں ۔
اِنۡ هِىَ اِلَّا مَوۡتَتُنَا الۡاُوۡلٰى وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمُنۡشَرِيۡنَ ﴿35﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
"There is not but our first death, and we will not be resurrected.
کہ ( آخری چیز ) یہی ہمارا پہلی بار ( دنیا سے ) مر جانا ہے اور ہم دوبارہ اٹھائے نہیں جائیں گے ۔
فَاۡتُوۡا بِاٰبَآٮِٕنَاۤ اِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ صٰدِقِيۡنَ ﴿36﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Then bring [back] our forefathers, if you should be truthful."
اگر تم سچے ہو تو ہمارے باپ دادوں کو لے آؤ ۔
اَهُمۡ خَيۡرٌ اَمۡ قَوۡمُ تُبَّعٍۙ وَّ الَّذِيۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِهِمۡؕ اَهۡلَكۡنٰهُمۡ اِنَّهُمۡ كَانُوۡا مُجۡرِمِيۡنَ ﴿37﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Are they better or the people of Tubba' and those before them? We destroyed them, [for] indeed, they were criminals.
کیا یہ لوگ بہتر ہیں یا تبع کی قوم کے لوگ اور جو ان سے بھی پہلے تھے ۔ ہم نے ان سب کو ہلاک کر دیا یقیناً وہ گنہگار تھے ۔
وَمَا خَلَقۡنَا السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا لٰعِبِيۡنَ ﴿38﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And We did not create the heavens and earth and that between them in play.
ہم نے زمین اور آسمانوں اور ان کے درمیان کی چیزوں کو کھیل کے طور پر پیدا نہیں کیا ۔
مَا خَلَقۡنٰهُمَاۤ اِلَّا بِالۡحَقِّ وَلٰكِنَّ اَكۡثَرَهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿39﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
We did not create them except in truth, but most of them do not know.
بلکہ ہم نے انہیں درست تدبیر کے ساتھ ہی پیدا کیا ہے ، لیکن ان میں سے اکثر لوگ نہیں جانتے ۔
اِنَّ يَوۡمَ الۡفَصۡلِ مِيۡقَاتُهُمۡ اَجۡمَعِيۡنَۙ ﴿40﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, the Day of Judgement is the appointed time for them all -
یقیناً فیصلے کا دن ان سب کا طے شدہ وقت ہے ۔
يَوۡمَ لَا يُغۡنِىۡ مَوۡلًى عَنۡ مَّوۡلًى شَيۡــًٔا وَّلَا هُمۡ يُنۡصَرُوۡنَۙ ﴿41﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
The Day when no relation will avail a relation at all, nor will they be helped -
اس دن کوئی دوست کسی دوست کے کچھ بھی کام نہ آئے گا اور نہ ان کی امداد کی جائے گی ۔
اِلَّا مَنۡ رَّحِمَ اللّٰهُؕ اِنَّهٗ هُوَ الۡعَزِيۡزُ الرَّحِيۡمُ ﴿42﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Except those [believers] on whom Allah has mercy. Indeed, He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.
مگر جس پر اللہ کی مہربانی ہو جائے وہ زبردست اور رحم کرنے والا ہے ۔
اِنَّ شَجَرَتَ الزَّقُّوۡمِۙ ﴿43﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, the tree of zaqqum
بیشک زقوم ( تھوہر ) کا درخت ۔
طَعَامُ الۡاَثِيۡمِ ۛۚ ۖ ﴿44﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Is food for the sinful.
گنہگار کا کھانا ہے ۔
كَالۡمُهۡلِ ۛۚ يَغۡلِىۡ فِى الۡبُطُوۡنِۙ ﴿45﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Like murky oil, it boils within bellies
جو مثل تلچھٹ کے ہے اور پیٹ میں کھولتا رہتا ہے ۔
كَغَلۡىِ الۡحَمِيۡمِ ﴿46﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Like the boiling of scalding water.
مثل تیز گرم پانی کے ۔
خُذُوۡهُ فَاعۡتِلُوۡهُ اِلٰى سَوَآءِ الۡجَحِيۡمِ ۖ ﴿47﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
[It will be commanded], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of the Hellfire,
اسے پکڑ لو پھر گھسیٹتے ہوئے بیچ جہنم تک پہنچاؤ ۔
ثُمَّ صُبُّوۡا فَوۡقَ رَاۡسِهٖ مِنۡ عَذَابِ الۡحَمِيۡمِؕ ﴿48﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Then pour over his head from the torment of scalding water."
پھر اس کے سر پر سخت گرم پانی کا عذاب بہاؤ ۔
ذُقۡ ۖۚ اِنَّكَ اَنۡتَ الۡعَزِيۡزُ الۡكَرِيۡمُ ﴿49﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
[It will be said], "Taste! Indeed, you are the honored, the noble!
۔ ( اس سے کہا جائے گا ) چکھتا جا تو تو بڑا ذی عزت اور بڑے اکرام والا تھا ۔
اِنَّ هٰذَا مَا كُنۡتُمۡ بِهٖ تَمۡتَرُوۡنَ ﴿50﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, this is what you used to dispute."
یہی وہ چیز ہے جس میں تم شک کیا کرتے تھے ۔
اِنَّ الۡمُتَّقِيۡنَ فِىۡ مَقَامٍ اَمِيۡنٍۙ ﴿51﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, the righteous will be in a secure place;
بیشک ( اللہ سے ) ڈرنے والے امن چین کی جگہ میں ہونگے ۔
فِىۡ جَنّٰتٍ وَّعُيُوۡنٍ ۙ ۚ ﴿52﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Within gardens and springs,
باغوں اور چشموں میں ۔
يَّلۡبَسُوۡنَ مِنۡ سُنۡدُسٍ وَّاِسۡتَبۡرَقٍ مُّتَقٰبِلِيۡنَۚ ۙ ﴿53﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other.
باریک اور دبیز یشم کے لباس پہنے ہوئے آمنے سامنے بیٹھے ہونگے ۔
كَذٰلِكَ وَزَوَّجۡنٰهُمۡ بِحُوۡرٍ عِيۡنٍؕ ﴿54﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Thus. And We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes.
یہ اسی طرح ہے اور ہم بڑی بڑی آنکھوں والی حوروں سے ان کا نکاح کر دیں گے ۔
يَدۡعُوۡنَ فِيۡهَا بِكُلِّ فَاكِهَةٍ اٰمِنِيۡنَۙ ﴿55﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
They will call therein for every [kind of] fruit - safe and secure.
دل جمعی کے ساتھ وہاں ہر طرح کے میووں کی فرمائشیں کرتے ہونگے ۔
لَا يَذُوۡقُوۡنَ فِيۡهَا الۡمَوۡتَ اِلَّا الۡمَوۡتَةَ الۡاُوۡلٰى ۚ وَوَقٰٮهُمۡ عَذَابَ الۡجَحِيۡمِۙ ﴿56﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire
وہاں وہ موت چکھنے کے نہیں ہاں پہلی موت ( جو وہ مر چکے ) انہیں اللہ تعالٰی نے دوزخ کی سزا سے بچا دیا ۔
فَضۡلًا مِّنۡ رَّبِّكَ ؕ ذٰ لِكَ هُوَ الۡفَوۡزُ الۡعَظِيۡمُ ﴿57﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
As bounty from your Lord. That is what is the great attainment.
یہ صرف تیرے رب کا فضل ہے یہی ہے بڑی کامیابی ۔
فَاِنَّمَا يَسَّرۡنٰهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَذَكَّرُوۡنَ ﴿58﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And indeed, We have eased the Qur'an in your tongue that they might be reminded.
ہم نے اس ( قرآن ) کو تیری زبان میں آسان کر دیا تاکہ وہ نصیحت حاصل کریں ۔
فَارۡتَقِبۡ اِنَّهُمۡ مُّرۡتَقِبُوۡنَ ﴿59﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
So watch, [O Muhammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end].
اب تو منتظر رہ یہ بھی منتظر ہیں ۔
