In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
شروع کرتا ہوں اللہ تعا لٰی کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے ۔

الۤرٰ تِلۡكَ اٰيٰتُ الۡـكِتٰبِ وَقُرۡاٰنٍ مُّبِيۡنٍ ﴿1﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Alif, Lam, Ra. These are the verses of the Book and a clear Qur'an.
الرٓا یہ کتاب الٰہی کی آیتیں ہیں اور کھلے اور روشن قرآن کی ۔

رُبَمَا يَوَدُّ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا لَوۡ كَانُوۡا مُسۡلِمِيۡنَ ﴿2﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Perhaps those who disbelieve will wish that they had been Muslims.
وہ بھی وقت بھی ہوگا کہ کافر اپنے مسلمان ہونے کی آرزو کریں گے ۔

ذَرۡهُمۡ يَاۡكُلُوۡا وَيَتَمَتَّعُوۡا وَيُلۡهِهِمُ الۡاَمَلُ فَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿3﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Let them eat and enjoy themselves and be diverted by [false] hope, for they are going to know.
آپ انہیں کھاتا نفع اٹھاتا اور ( جھوٹی ) امیدوں میں مشغول ہوتا چھوڑ دیجئیے یہ خود بھی جان لیں گے ۔

وَمَاۤ اَهۡلَـكۡنَا مِنۡ قَرۡيَةٍ اِلَّا وَلَهَا كِتَابٌ مَّعۡلُوۡمٌ ﴿4﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And We did not destroy any city but that for it was a known decree.
کسی بستی کو ہم نے ہلاک نہیں کیا مگر یہ کہ اس کے لئے مقررہ نوشتہ تھا ۔

مَا تَسۡبِقُ مِنۡ اُمَّةٍ اَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسۡتَاْخِرُوۡنَ ﴿5﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
No nation will precede its term, nor will they remain thereafter.
کوئی گروہ اپنی موت سے نہ آگے بڑھتا ہے نہ پیچھے رہتا ہے ۔

وَ قَالُوۡا يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِىۡ نُزِّلَ عَلَيۡهِ الذِّكۡرُ اِنَّكَ لَمَجۡنُوۡنٌؕ ﴿6﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And they say,"O you upon whom the message has been sent down, indeed you are mad.
انہوں نے کہا اے وہ شخص جس پر قرآن اتارا گیا ہے یقیناً تو تو کوئی دیوانہ ہے ۔

لَوۡ مَا تَاۡتِيۡنَا بِالۡمَلٰۤٮِٕكَةِ اِنۡ كُنۡتَ مِنَ الصّٰدِقِيۡنَ ﴿7﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Why do you not bring us the angels, if you should be among the truthful?"
اگر تو سچا ہی ہے تو ہمارے پاس فرشتوں کو کیوں نہیں لاتا ۔

مَا نُنَزِّلُ الۡمَلٰۤٮِٕكَةَ اِلَّا بِالۡحَـقِّ وَمَا كَانُوۡۤا اِذًا مُّنۡظَرِيۡنَ ﴿8﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
We do not send down the angels except with truth; and the disbelievers would not then be reprieved.
ہم فرشتوں کو حق کے ساتھ ہی اتارتے ہیں اور اس وقت وہ مہلت دیئے گئے نہیں ہوتے ۔

اِنَّا نَحۡنُ نَزَّلۡنَا الذِّكۡرَ وَاِنَّا لَهٗ لَحٰـفِظُوۡنَ ﴿9﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur'an and indeed, We will be its guardian.
ہم نے ہی اس قرآن کو نازل فرمایا ہے اور ہم ہی اس کے محافظ ہیں ۔

وَلَـقَدۡ اَرۡسَلۡنَا مِنۡ قَبۡلِكَ فِىۡ شِيَعِ الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَ ﴿10﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And We had certainly sent [messengers] before you, [O Muhammad], among the sects of the former peoples.
ہم نے آپ سے پہلے اگلی امتوں میں بھی اپنے رسول ( برابر ) بھیجے ۔

وَمَا يَاۡتِيۡهِمۡ مِّنۡ رَّسُوۡلٍ اِلَّا كَانُوۡا بِهٖ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُوۡنَ ﴿11﴾

And no messenger would come to them except that they ridiculed him.
اور ( لیکن ) جو بھی رسول آتا وہ اس کا مذاق اڑاتے ۔

كَذٰلِكَ نَسۡلُكُهٗ فِىۡ قُلُوۡبِ الۡمُجۡرِمِيۡنَۙ ﴿12﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Thus do We insert denial into the hearts of the criminals.
گناہگاروں کے دلوں میں ہم اسی طرح یہ ہی رچا دیا کرتے ہیں ۔

لَا يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِهٖۚ وَقَدۡ خَلَتۡ سُنَّةُ الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَ ﴿13﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
They will not believe in it, while there has already occurred the precedent of the former peoples.
وہ اس پر ایمان نہیں لاتے اور یقیناً اگلوں کا طریقہ گزرا ہوا ہے ۔

وَلَوۡ فَتَحۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ بَابًا مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ فَظَلُّوۡا فِيۡهِ يَعۡرُجُوۡنَۙ ﴿14﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And [even] if We opened to them a gate from the heaven and they continued therein to ascend,
اور اگر ہم ان پر آسمان کا دروازہ کھول بھی دیں اور یہ وہاں چڑھنے بھی لگ جائیں ۔

لَـقَالُوۡۤا اِنَّمَا سُكِّرَتۡ اَبۡصَارُنَا بَلۡ نَحۡنُ قَوۡمٌ مَّسۡحُوۡرُوۡنَ ﴿15﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
They would say, "Our eyes have only been dazzled. Rather, we are a people affected by magic."
تب بھی یہی کہیں گے کہ ہماری نظر بندی کر دی گئی ہے بلکہ ہم لوگوں پر جادو کر دیا گیا ہے ۔

وَلَـقَدۡ جَعَلۡنَا فِى السَّمَآءِ بُرُوۡجًا وَّزَيَّـنّٰهَا لِلنّٰظِرِيۡنَۙ ﴿16﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers.
یقیناً ہم نے آسمان میں برج بنائے ہیں اور دیکھنے والوں کے لئے اسے سجا دیا گیا ہے ۔

وَحَفِظۡنٰهَا مِنۡ كُلِّ شَيۡطٰنٍ رَّجِيۡمٍۙ ﴿17﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah ]
اور اسے ہر مردود شیطان سے محفوظ رکھا ہے ۔

اِلَّا مَنِ اسۡتَرَقَ السَّمۡعَ فَاَ تۡبَعَهٗ شِهَابٌ مُّبِيۡنٌ ﴿18﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame.
ہاں مگر جو چوری چھپے سننے کی کوشش کرے اس کے پیچھے دھکتا ہوا ( کھلا شعلہ ) لگتا ہے ۔

وَالۡاَرۡضَ مَدَدۡنٰهَا وَاَلۡقَيۡنَا فِيۡهَا رَوَاسِىَ وَاَنۡۢبَتۡنَا فِيۡهَا مِنۡ كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ مَّوۡزُوۡنٍ ﴿19﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing.
اور زمین کو ہم نے پھیلا دیا ہے اور اس پر ( اٹل ) پہاڑ ڈال دیئے ہیں اور اس میں ہم نے ہرچیز ایک معین مقدار سے اگادی ہے ۔

وَجَعَلۡنَا لَـكُمۡ فِيۡهَا مَعَايِشَ وَمَنۡ لَّسۡتُمۡ لَهٗ بِرٰزِقِيۡنَ ﴿20﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And We have made for you therein means of living and [for] those for whom you are not providers.
اور اسی میں ہم نے تمہاری روزیاں بنادی ہیں اور جنہیں تم روزی دینے والے نہیں ہو ۔

وَاِنۡ مِّنۡ شَىۡءٍ اِلَّا عِنۡدَنَا خَزَآٮِٕنُهٗ وَمَا نُنَزِّلُهٗۤ اِلَّا بِقَدَرٍ مَّعۡلُوۡمٍ ﴿21﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And there is not a thing but that with Us are its depositories, and We do not send it down except according to a known measure.
اور جتنی بھی چیزیں ہیں ان سب کے خزانے ہمارے پاس ہیں ، اور ہم ہرچیز کو اس کے مقررہ انداز سے اتارتے ہیں ۔

وَاَرۡسَلۡنَا الرِّيٰحَ لَوَاقِحَ فَاَنۡزَلۡنَا مِنَ السَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَاَسۡقَيۡنٰكُمُوۡهُۚ وَمَاۤ اَنۡتُمۡ لَهٗ بِخٰزِنِيۡنَ ﴿22﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers.
اور ہم بھیجتے ہیں بوجھل ہوائیں پھر آسمان سے پانی برسا کر وہ تمہیں پلاتے ہیں اور تم اس کا ذخیرہ کرنے والے نہیں ہو ۔

وَ اِنَّا لَــنَحۡنُ نُحۡىٖ وَنُمِيۡتُ وَنَحۡنُ الۡوٰرِثُوۡنَ ﴿23﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and We are the Inheritor.
ہم ہی جلاتے اور مارتے ہیں اور ہم ہی ( بالآخر ) وارث ہیں ۔

وَلَـقَدۡ عَلِمۡنَا الۡمُسۡتَقۡدِمِيۡنَ مِنۡكُمۡ وَلَـقَدۡ عَلِمۡنَا الۡمُسۡتَـاْخِرِيۡنَ ﴿24﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And We have already known the preceding [generations] among you, and We have already known the later [ones to come].
اور تم میں سے آگے بڑھنے والے اور پیچھے ہٹنے والے بھی ہمارے علم میں ہیں ۔

وَاِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَحۡشُرُهُمۡؕ اِنَّهٗ حَكِيۡمٌ عَلِيۡمٌ ﴿25﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing.
آپ کا رب سب لوگوں کو جمع کرے گا یقیناً وہ بڑی حکمتوں والا ہے ۔

وَلَـقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا الۡاِنۡسَانَ مِنۡ صَلۡصَالٍ مِّنۡ حَمَاٍ مَّسۡنُوۡنٍۚ ﴿26﴾

And We did certainly create man out of clay from an altered black mud.
یقیناً ہم نے انسان کو کالی اور سڑی ہوئی کھنکھناتی مٹی سے پیدا فرمایا ہے ۔

وَالۡجَـآنَّ خَلَقۡنٰهُ مِنۡ قَبۡلُ مِنۡ نَّارِ السَّمُوۡمِ ﴿27﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And the jinn We created before from scorching fire.
اوراس سے پہلے جنات کو ہم نے لو والی آگ سے پیدا کیا ۔

وَاِذۡ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلۡمَلٰۤٮِٕكَةِ اِنِّىۡ خَالـِقٌۢ بَشَرًا مِّنۡ صَلۡصَالٍ مِّنۡ حَمَاٍ مَّسۡنُوۡنٍ ﴿28﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "I will create a human being out of clay from an altered black mud.
اور جب تیرے پروردگار نے فرشتوں سے فرمایا کہ میں ایک انسان کو کالی اور سڑی ہوئی کھنکھناتی مٹی سے پیدا کرنے والا ہوں ۔

فَاِذَا سَوَّيۡتُهٗ وَنَفَخۡتُ فِيۡهِ مِنۡ رُّوۡحِىۡ فَقَعُوۡا لَهٗ سٰجِدِيۡنَ ﴿29﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration."
تو جب میں اسے پورا بنا چکوں اور اس میں اپنی روح پھونک دوں تو تم سب اس کے لئے سجدے میں گر پڑنا ۔

فَسَجَدَ الۡمَلٰۤٮِٕكَةُ كُلُّهُمۡ اَجۡمَعُوۡنَۙ ﴿30﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely,
چناچہ تمام فرشتوں نے سب کے سب نے سجدہ کر لیا ۔

اِلَّاۤ اِبۡلِيۡسَؕ اَبٰٓى اَنۡ يَّكُوۡنَ مَعَ السّٰجِدِيۡنَ ﴿31﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Except Iblees, he refused to be with those who prostrated.
مگر ابلیس کے کہ اس نے سجدہ کرنے والوں میں شمولیت کرنے سے صاف انکار کر دیا ۔

قَالَ يٰۤاِبۡلِيۡسُ مَا لَـكَ اَلَّا تَكُوۡنَ مَعَ السّٰجِدِيۡنَ ﴿32﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
[ Allah ] said, O Iblees, what is [the matter] with you that you are not with those who prostrate?"
۔ ( اللہ تعالٰی نے ) فرمایا اے ابلیس تجھے کیا ہوا کہ تو سجدہ کرنے والوں میں شامل نہ ہوا؟

قَالَ لَمۡ اَكُنۡ لِّاَسۡجُدَ لِبَشَرٍ خَلَقۡتَهٗ مِنۡ صَلۡصَالٍ مِّنۡ حَمَاٍ مَّسۡنُوۡنٍ ﴿33﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
He said, "Never would I prostrate to a human whom You created out of clay from an altered black mud."
وہ بولا کہ میں ایسا نہیں کہ اس انسان کو سجدہ کروں جسے تو نے کالی اور سڑی ہوئی کھنکھناتی مٹی سے پیدا کیا ہے

قَالَ فَاخۡرُجۡ مِنۡهَا فَاِنَّكَ رَجِيۡمٌۙ ﴿34﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
[ Allah ] said, "Then get out of it, for indeed, you are expelled.
فرمایا اب تو بہشت سے نکل جا کیونکہ تو راندہ ٔدرگاہ ہے ۔

وَّاِنَّ عَلَيۡكَ اللَّعۡنَةَ اِلٰى يَوۡمِ الدِّيۡنِ ﴿35﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And indeed, upon you is the curse until the Day of Recompense."
اورتجھ پر میری پھٹکار ہے قیامت کے دن تک ۔

قَالَ رَبِّ فَاَنۡظِرۡنِىۡۤ اِلٰى يَوۡمِ يُبۡعَثُوۡنَ ﴿36﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
He said,"My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected."
کہنے لگا کہ دے میرے رب! مجھے اس دن تک کی ڈھیل دے کہ لوگ دوبارہ اٹھا کھڑے کیئے جائیں ۔

قَالَ فَاِنَّكَ مِنَ الۡمُنۡظَرِيۡنَۙ ﴿37﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
[ Allah ] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved
فرمایا کہ اچھا تو ان میں سے ہے جنہیں مہلت ملی ہے ۔

اِلٰى يَوۡمِ الۡوَقۡتِ الۡمَعۡلُوۡمِ ﴿38﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Until the Day of the time well-known."
روز مقرر کے وقت تک کی ۔

قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَاۤ اَغۡوَيۡتَنِىۡ لَاُزَيِّنَنَّ لَهُمۡ فِى الۡاَرۡضِ وَلَاُغۡوِيَـنَّهُمۡ اَجۡمَعِيۡنَۙ ﴿39﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
[Iblees] said, "My Lord, because You have put me in error, I will surely make [disobedience] attractive to them on earth, and I will mislead them all
۔ ( شیطان نے ) کہا اے میرے رب! چونکہ تو نے مجھے گمراہ کیا ہے مجھے بھی قسم ہے کہ میں بھی زمین میں ان کے لئے معاصی کو مزین کروں گا اور ان سب کو بہکاؤں گا بھی ۔

اِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنۡهُمُ الۡمُخۡلَصِيۡنَ ﴿40﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Except, among them, Your chosen servants."
سوائے تیرے ان بندوں کے جو منتخب کرلئے گئے ہیں ۔

قَالَ هٰذَا صِرَاطٌ عَلَىَّ مُسۡتَقِيۡمٌ ﴿41﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
[ Allah ] said, "This is a path [of return] to Me [that is] straight.
ارشاد ہوا کہ ہاں یہی مجھ تک پہنچنے کی سیدھی راہ ہے

اِنَّ عِبَادِىۡ لَـيۡسَ لَكَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ سُلۡطٰنٌ اِلَّا مَنِ اتَّبَـعَكَ مِنَ الۡغٰوِيۡنَ ﴿42﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, My servants - no authority will you have over them, except those who follow you of the deviators.
میرے بندوں پر تجھے کوئی غلبہ نہیں لیکن ہاں جو گمراہ لوگ تیری پیروی کریں ۔

وَاِنَّ جَهَـنَّمَ لَمَوۡعِدُهُمۡ اَجۡمَعِيۡنَۙ ﴿43﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And indeed, Hell is the promised place for them all.
یقیناً ان سب کے وعدے کی جگہ جہنم ہے ۔

لَهَا سَبۡعَةُ اَبۡوَابٍؕ لِكُلِّ بَابٍ مِّنۡهُمۡ جُزۡءٌ مَّقۡسُوۡمٌ ﴿44﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
It has seven gates; for every gate is of them a portion designated."
جس کے سات دروازے ہیں ۔ ہر دروازے کے لئے ان کا ایک حصہ بٹا ہوا ہے ۔

اِنَّ الۡمُتَّقِيۡنَ فِىۡ جَنّٰتٍ وَّعُيُوۡنٍؕ ﴿45﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, the righteous will be within gardens and springs.
پرہیزگار جنتی لوگ باغوں اور چشموں میں ہونگے ۔

اُدۡخُلُوۡهَا بِسَلٰمٍ اٰمِنِيۡنَ ﴿46﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
[Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]."
۔ ( ان سے کہا جائیگا ) سلامتی اور امن کے ساتھ اس میں داخل ہوجاؤ ۔

وَنَزَعۡنَا مَا فِىۡ صُدُوۡرِهِمۡ مِّنۡ غِلٍّ اِخۡوَانًا عَلٰى سُرُرٍ مُّتَقٰبِلِيۡنَ ﴿47﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And We will remove whatever is in their breasts of resentment, [so they will be] brothers, on thrones facing each other.
ان کے دلوں میں جو کچھ رنجش و کینہ تھا ہم سب کچھ نکال دیں گے وہ بھائی بھائی بنے ہوئے ایک دوسرے کے آمنے سامنے تختوں پر بیٹھے ہونگے ۔

لَا يَمَسُّهُمۡ فِيۡهَا نَـصَبٌ وَّمَا هُمۡ مِّنۡهَا بِمُخۡرَجِيۡنَ ﴿48﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
No fatigue will touch them therein, nor from it will they [ever] be removed.
نہ تو وہاں انہیں کوئی تکلیف چھو سکتی ہے اور نہ وہ وہاں سے کبھی نکالے جائیں گے ۔

نَبِّئۡ عِبَادِىۡۤ اَنِّىۡۤ اَنَا الۡغَفُوۡرُ الرَّحِيۡمُۙ ﴿49﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
[O Muhammad], inform My servants that it is I who am the Forgiving, the Merciful.
میرے بندوں کو خبر دے دو کہ میں بہت ہی بخشنے والا اور بڑا ہی مہربان ہوں ۔

وَاَنَّ عَذَابِىۡ هُوَ الۡعَذَابُ الۡاَلِيۡمُ ﴿50﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment.
اورساتھ ہی میرے عذاب بھی نہایت دردناک ہیں ۔

وَنَبِّئۡهُمۡ عَنۡ ضَيۡفِ اِبۡرٰهِيۡمَۘ ﴿51﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And inform them about the guests of Abraham,
انہیں ابراہیم کے مہمانوں کا ( بھی ) حال سنادو ۔

اِذۡ دَخَلُوۡا عَلَيۡهِ فَقَالُوۡا سَلٰمًاؕ قَالَ اِنَّا مِنۡكُمۡ وَجِلُوۡنَ ﴿52﴾

When they entered upon him and said, "Peace." [Abraham] said, "Indeed, we are fearful of you."
کہ جب انہوں نے ان کے پاس آکر سلام کہا تو انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم کو تو تم سے ڈر لگتا ہے

قَالُوۡا لَا تَوۡجَلۡ اِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلٰمٍ عَلِيۡمٍ ﴿53﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
[The angels] said, "Fear not. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy."
انہوں نے کہا ڈرو نہیں ہم تجھے ایک صاحب علم فرزند کی بشارت دیتے ہیں ۔

قَالَ اَبَشَّرۡتُمُوۡنِىۡ عَلٰٓى اَنۡ مَّسَّنِىَ الۡكِبَرُ فَبِمَ تُبَشِّرُوۡنَ ﴿54﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
He said, "Have you given me good tidings although old age has come upon me? Then of what [wonder] do you inform?"
کہا کیا اس بڑھاپے کے آجانے کے بعد تم مجھے خوشخبری دیتے ہو! یہ خوشخبری تم کیسے دے رہے ہو؟

قَالُوۡا بَشَّرۡنٰكَ بِالۡحَـقِّ فَلَا تَكُنۡ مِّنَ الۡقٰنِطِيۡنَ ﴿55﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
They said, "We have given you good tidings in truth, so do not be of the despairing."
انہوں نے کہا ہم آپ کو بالکل سچی خوشخبری سناتے ہیں آپ مایوس لوگوں میں شامل نہ ہوں

قَالَ وَمَنۡ يَّقۡنَطُ مِنۡ رَّحۡمَةِ رَبِّهٖۤ اِلَّا الضَّآلُّوۡنَ ﴿56﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?"
کہا اپنے رب تعالٰی کی رحمت سے نا امید تو صرف گمراہ اور بہکے ہوئے لوگ ہی ہوتے ہیں

قَالَ فَمَا خَطۡبُكُمۡ اَيُّهَا الۡمُرۡسَلُوۡنَ ﴿57﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
[Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?"
پوچھا کہ اللہ کے بھیجے ہوئے ( فرشتو ) تمہارا ایسا کیا اہم کام ہے؟

قَالُـوۡۤا اِنَّاۤ اُرۡسِلۡنَاۤ اِلٰى قَوۡمٍ مُّجۡرِمِيۡنَۙ ﴿58﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals,
انہوں نے جواب دیا کہ ہم مجرم قوم کی طرف بھیجے گئے ہیں ۔

اِلَّاۤ اٰلَ لُوۡطٍؕ اِنَّا لَمُنَجُّوۡهُمۡ اَجۡمَعِيۡنَۙ ﴿59﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Except the family of Lot; indeed, we will save them all
مگر خاندان لوط کہ ہم ان سب کو توضرور بچالیں گے ۔

اِلَّا امۡرَاَتَهٗ قَدَّرۡنَاۤ ۙ اِنَّهَا لَمِنَ الۡغٰبِرِيۡنَ ﴿60﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Except his wife." Allah decreed that she is of those who remain behind.
سوائے اس ( لوط ) کی بیوی کے کہ ہم نے اسے رکنے اور باقی رہ جانے والوں میں مقرر کر دیا ہے ۔

فَلَمَّا جَآءَ اٰلَ لُوۡطِ ۨالۡمُرۡسَلُوۡنَۙ ﴿61﴾

And when the messengers came to the family of Lot,
جب بھیجے ہوئے فرشتے آل لوط کے پاس پہنچے ۔

قَالَ اِنَّـكُمۡ قَوۡمٌ مُّنۡكَرُوۡنَ ﴿62﴾

He said, "Indeed, you are people unknown."
تو انہوں ( لوط علیہ السلام ) نے کہا تم لوگ تو کچھ انجان سے معلوم ہو رہے ہو ۔

قَالُوۡا بَلۡ جِئۡنٰكَ بِمَا كَانُوۡا فِيۡهِ يَمۡتَرُوۡنَ ﴿63﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
They said, "But we have come to you with that about which they were disputing,
ا نہوں نے کہا نہیں بلکہ ہم تیرے پاس وہ چیز لائے ہیں جس میں یہ لوگ شک شبہ کر رہے تھے ۔

وَ اَتَيۡنٰكَ بِالۡحَـقِّ وَاِنَّا لَصٰدِقُوۡنَ ﴿64﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And we have come to you with truth, and indeed, we are truthful.
ہم تو تیرے پاس ( صریح ) حق لائے ہیں اور ہیں بھی بالکل سچے ۔

فَاَسۡرِ بِاَهۡلِكَ بِقِطۡعٍ مِّنَ الَّيۡلِ وَاتَّبِعۡ اَدۡبَارَهُمۡ وَلَا يَلۡـتَفِتۡ مِنۡكُمۡ اَحَدٌ وَّامۡضُوۡا حَيۡثُ تُؤۡمَرُوۡنَ ﴿65﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
So set out with your family during a portion of the night and follow behind them and let not anyone among you look back and continue on to where you are commanded."
اب تو اپنے خاندان سمیت اس رات کے کسی حصہ میں چل دے اور آپ ان کے پیچھے رہنا ، اور ( خبردار ) تم میں سے کوئی ( پیچھے ) مڑ کر بھی نہ دیکھے اور جہاں کا تمہیں حکم کیا جا رہا ہے وہاں چلے جانا ۔

وَقَضَيۡنَاۤ اِلَيۡهِ ذٰ لِكَ الۡاَمۡرَ اَنَّ دَابِرَ هٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ مَقۡطُوۡعٌ مُّصۡبِحِيۡنَ ﴿66﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And We conveyed to him [the decree] of that matter: that those [sinners] would be eliminated by early morning.
اورہم نے اس کی طرف اس بات کا فیصلہ کر دیا کہ صبح ہو تے ہوتے ان لوگوں کی جڑیں کاٹ دی جائیں گی ۔

وَجَآءَ اَهۡلُ الۡمَدِيۡنَةِ يَسۡتَـبۡشِرُوۡنَ ﴿67﴾

And the people of the city came rejoicing.
اور شہر والے خوشیاں مناتے ہوئے آئے ۔

قَالَ اِنَّ هٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ ضَيۡفِىۡ فَلَا تَفۡضَحُوۡنِۙ ﴿68﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
[Lot] said, "Indeed, these are my guests, so do not shame me.
۔ ( لوط علیہ السلام نے ) کہا یہ لوگ میرے مہمان ہیں تم مجھے رسوا نہ کرو ۔

وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَلَا تُخۡزُوۡنِ ﴿69﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And fear Allah and do not disgrace me."
اللہ تعالٰی سے ڈرو اور مجھے رسوا نہ کرو ۔

قَالُـوۡۤا اَوَلَمۡ نَـنۡهَكَ عَنِ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَ ﴿70﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
They said, "Have we not forbidden you from [protecting] people?"
وہ بولے کیا ہم نے تجھے دنیا بھر ( کی ٹھیکیداری ) سے منع نہیں کر رکھا؟

قَالَ هٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ بَنٰتِىۡۤ اِنۡ كُنۡـتُمۡ فٰعِلِيۡنَؕ ﴿71﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
[Lot] said, "These are my daughters - if you would be doers [of lawful marriage]."
۔ ( لوط علیہ السلام نے ) کہا اگر تمہیں کرنا ہی ہے تو یہ میری بچیاں موجود ہیں ۔

لَعَمۡرُكَ اِنَّهُمۡ لَفِىۡ سَكۡرَتِهِمۡ يَعۡمَهُوۡنَ ﴿72﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
By your life, [O Muhammad], indeed they were, in their intoxication, wandering blindly.
تیری عمر کی قسم! وہ تو اپنی بد مستی میں سرگرداں تھے ۔

فَاَخَذَتۡهُمُ الصَّيۡحَةُ مُشۡرِقِيۡنَۙ ﴿73﴾

So the shriek seized them at sunrise.
پس سورج نکلتے نکلتے انہیں ایک بڑے زور کی آواز نے پکڑ لیا ۔

فَجَعَلۡنَا عَالِيـَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَ اَمۡطَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ حِجَارَةً مِّنۡ سِجِّيۡلٍؕ ﴿74﴾

And We made the highest part [of the city] its lowest and rained upon them stones of hard clay.
بالآخر ہم نے اس شہر کو اوپر تلے کر دیا اور ان لوگوں پر کنکر والے پتھر برسائے ۔

اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰ لِكَ لَاٰيٰتٍ لِّـلۡمُتَوَسِّمِيۡنَ ﴿75﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed in that are signs for those who discern.
بلاشبہ بصیرت والوں کے لئے اس میں بہت سی نشانیاں ہیں ۔

وَاِنَّهَا لَبِسَبِيۡلٍ مُّقِيۡمٍ ﴿76﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And indeed, those cities are [situated] on an established road.
یہ بستی ایسی راہ پر ہے جو برابر چلتی رہتی ( عام گذرگاہ ) ہے ۔

اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَةً لِّـلۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَؕ ﴿77﴾

Indeed in that is a sign for the believers.
اور اس میں ایمان والوں کے لئے بڑی نشانی ہے ۔

وَاِنۡ كَانَ اَصۡحٰبُ الۡاَيۡكَةِ لَظٰلِمِيۡنَۙ ﴿78﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And the companions of the thicket were [also] wrongdoers.
ایک بستی کے رہنے والے بھی بڑے ظالم تھے ۔

فَانتَقَمۡنَا مِنۡهُمۡۘ وَاِنَّهُمَا لَبِاِمَامٍ مُّبِيۡنٍؕ ﴿79﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
So We took retribution from them, and indeed, both [cities] are on a clear highway.
جن سے ( آخر ) ہم نے انتقام لے ہی لیا ۔ یہ دونوں شہر کھلے ( عام ) راستے پر ہیں ۔

وَلَـقَدۡ كَذَّبَ اَصۡحٰبُ الۡحِجۡرِ الۡمُرۡسَلِيۡنَۙ ﴿80﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And certainly did the companions of Thamud deny the messengers.
اور حجر والوں نے بھی رسولوں کو جھٹلایا ۔

وَاٰتَيۡنٰهُمۡ اٰيٰتِنَا فَكَانُوۡا عَنۡهَا مُعۡرِضِيۡنَۙ ﴿81﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And We gave them Our signs, but from them they were turning away.
اور ہم ان کو نے اپنی نشانیاں بھی عطا فرمائیں ( لیکن ) تاہم وہ ان سے روگردانی ہی کرتے رہے ۔

وَكَانُوۡا يَنۡحِتُوۡنَ مِنَ الۡجِبَالِ بُيُوۡتًا اٰمِنِيۡنَ ﴿82﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And they used to carve from the mountains, houses, feeling secure.
یہ لوگ پہاڑوں کو تراش تراش کر گھر بناتے تھے بے خوف ہو کر ۔

فَاَخَذَتۡهُمُ الصَّيۡحَةُ مُصۡبِحِيۡنَۙ ﴿83﴾

But the shriek seized them at early morning.
آخر انہیں بھی صبح ہوتے ہوتے چنگھاڑ نے آدبوچا ۔

فَمَاۤ اَغۡنٰى عَنۡهُمۡ مَّا كَانُوۡا يَكۡسِبُوۡنَؕ ﴿84﴾

So nothing availed them [from] what they used to earn.
پس ان کی کسی تدبیر و عمل نے انہیں کوئی فائدہ نہ دیا ۔

وَمَا خَلَقۡنَا السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَاۤ اِلَّا بِالۡحَـقِّ ؕ وَاِنَّ السَّاعَةَ لَاٰتِيَةٌ فَاصۡفَحِ الصَّفۡحَ الۡجَمِيۡلَ ﴿85﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness.
ہم نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو اور ان کے درمیان کی سب چیزوں کو حق کے ساتھ ہی پیدا فرمایا ہے اور قیامت ضرور ضرور آنے والی ہے ۔ پس تو حسن و خوبی ( اور اچھائی ) سے درگزر کر لے ۔

اِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ الۡخَـلّٰقُ الۡعَلِيۡمُ ﴿86﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, your Lord - He is the Knowing Creator.
یقیناً تیرا پروردگار ہی پیدا کرنے والا اور جاننے والا ہے ۔

وَلَـقَدۡ اٰتَيۡنٰكَ سَبۡعًا مِّنَ الۡمَـثَانِىۡ وَالۡـقُرۡاٰنَ الۡعَظِيۡمَ ﴿87﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And We have certainly given you, [O Muhammad], seven of the often repeated [verses] and the great Qur'an.
یقیناً ہم نے آپ کو سات آیتیں دے رکھی ہیں کہ وہ دہرائی جاتی ہیں اور عظیم قرآن بھی دے رکھا ہے ۔

لَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيۡنَيۡكَ اِلٰى مَا مَتَّعۡنَا بِهٖۤ اَزۡوَاجًا مِّنۡهُمۡ وَلَا تَحۡزَنۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَاخۡفِضۡ جَنَاحَكَ لِلۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ ﴿88﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [certain] categories of the disbelievers, and do not grieve over them. And lower your wing to the believers
آپ ہرگز اپنی نظریں اس چیز کی طرف نہ دوڑائیں جس سے ہم نے ان میں سے کئی قسم کے لوگوں کو بہرہ مند کر رکھا ہے نہ ان پر آپ افسوس کریں اور مومنوں کے لئے اپنے بازو جھکائے رہیں ۔

وَقُلۡ اِنِّىۡۤ اَنَا النَّذِيۡرُ الۡمُبِيۡنُۚ ﴿89﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And say, "Indeed, I am the clear warner" -
اور کہہ دیجئے کہ میں تو کھلم کھلا ڈرانے والا ہوں ۔

كَمَاۤ اَنۡزَلۡنَا عَلَى الۡمُقۡتَسِمِيۡنَۙ ﴿90﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Just as We had revealed [scriptures] to the separators
جیسے کہ ہم نے ان تقسیم کرنے والوں پر اتارا ۔

الَّذِيۡنَ جَعَلُوا الۡـقُرۡاٰنَ عِضِيۡنَ ﴿91﴾

Who have made the Qur'an into portions.
جنہوں نے اس کتاب الٰہی کے ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کردیئے ۔

فَوَرَبِّكَ لَـنَسۡــَٔلَـنَّهُمۡ اَجۡمَعِيۡنَۙ ﴿92﴾

So by your Lord, We will surely question them all
قسم ہے تیرے پالنے والے کی! ہم ان سب سے ضرور باز پرس کریں گے ۔

عَمَّا كَانُوۡا يَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ﴿93﴾

About what they used to do.
ہر اس چیز کی جو وہ کرتے تھے ۔

فَاصۡدَعۡ بِمَا تُؤۡمَرُ وَ اَعۡرِضۡ عَنِ الۡمُشۡرِكِيۡنَ ﴿94﴾

Then declare what you are commanded and turn away from the polytheists.
پس آپ اس حکم کو جو آپ کو کیا جارہا ہے کھول کر سنا دیجئے اور مشرکوں سے منہ پھیر لیجئے ۔

اِنَّا كَفَيۡنٰكَ الۡمُسۡتَهۡزِءِيۡنَۙ ﴿95﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
Indeed, We are sufficient for you against the mockers
آپ سے جو لوگ مسخرا پن کرتے ہیں ان کی سزا کے لئے ہم کافی ہیں ۔

الَّذِيۡنَ يَجۡعَلُوۡنَ مَعَ اللّٰهِ اِلٰهًا اٰخَرَۚ فَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿96﴾

Who make [equal] with Allah another deity. But they are going to know.
جو اللہ کے ساتھ دوسرے معبود مقرر کرتے ہیں انہیں عنقریب معلوم ہوجائے گا ۔

وَلَـقَدۡ نَـعۡلَمُ اَنَّكَ يَضِيۡقُ صَدۡرُكَ بِمَا يَقُوۡلُوۡنَۙ ﴿97﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And We already know that your breast is constrained by what they say.
ہمیں خوب علم ہے کہ ان باتوں سے آپ کا دل تنگ ہوتا ہے ۔

فَسَبِّحۡ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّكَ وَكُنۡ مِّنَ السّٰجِدِيۡنَۙ ﴿98﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
So exalt [ Allah ] with praise of your Lord and be of those who prostrate [to Him].
آپ اپنے پروردگار کی تسبیح اور حمد بیان کرتے رہیں اور سجدہ کرنے والوں میں شامل ہوجائیں ۔

وَاعۡبُدۡ رَبَّكَ حَتّٰى يَاۡتِيَكَ الۡيَـقِيۡنُ ﴿99﴾
Eng & Urdu Translations
And worship your Lord until there comes to you the certainty ( death ) .
اور اپنے رب کی عبادت کرتے رہیں یہاں تک کہ آپ کو موت آجائے
